So today my patient was a ritualist den escapee. He is 16 years old. He went to JAMB office to sort out issues. On his way back, he boarded a tricycle. He was initially close to the door of the keke but halfway, the passenger at the middle said he wanted to drop.

After removing his wallet, he told the rider that this doesn’t look like the place he wanted to drop, that it’s the next U-turn. He asked the young boy to shift to the middle after all he’d soon drop. He innocently shifted to the middle.

Next thing he removed a white handkerchief and he wasn’t himself again until he found himself in the middle of a bush. He was with the three younger guys(rider plus 2 passengers) that took him there and an elderly man.

The elderly man came to ask him some questions and later went out to the younger men. He could hear them arguing. He heard things like. He is tall, fair snd young as you requested. What kind of punishment is this? After a long argument, the elderly man came to him and

asked if he knew where he was. He said No. He asked if he could trace the place. He said No. he asked if he could run. He said yes. He loosened him and asked him to run. He ran till he saw himself at a major road by 3a.m.

He is having a mental breakdown. The sees the faces of the men randomly on normal people faces around hi. He sees the pots, the fire and the huts and it freaks him out. He is afraid of leaving the house. He now feels everyone wants to kill him.

At a point he even thought I, his Doctor am part of those people trying to kill him. I had to refer him to a therapist his this one is bigger than me. I’m sure those same guys went out again that night an picked a victim their Baba finally accepted.

Ritual Killing is real. Don’t envy people’s lifestyle on social media. You don’t know what people are doing to make money. Be contented with the small you have provided it is clean.

Be very alert when inside a public transportation means. Watch out for deliberate attempts to make you be the middle passenger and reject it as most of their charms usually work when you are sandwiched between them.

Don’t go out late at night except you really have to. Be alert about your environment all the time.
Pray without ceasing. The boy said they asked him whether he is a church goer and he told them that he is not just a church goer but a born again Christian.

Why they asked him that. I don’t know. But it suggests there was confusion in the camp. Pray before you leave home. Thank God each time you successfully get home. You don’t know how many deaths you have escaped to reach home.
