It is no longer news that the information I share on this twitter account and on my YouTube channel for the benefit of scholars is done simply out of altruism.

Would I love to earn money for the time I spend to curate and share tweets, or to record, edit and share videos?

For sure, I would love to earn financially for my hardwork!
However, I would never want to earn any money if it is going to be at the expense of people back home.
Never!
Especially since most of these ones can't afford it and should be getting support from me instead.

That said, I recently got a deal to partner with a fintech platform Lemonade Finance.

Lemonade is a cross-border payment platform tailor-made for Africans, not just in Africa, but everywhere - home or abroad. The Lemonade app has been built for day to day use for Africans.

Guys asking questions about whether their CGPA cut it for scholarship selection, as long as the scholarship selection says it does, then it does. If they ask for second class upper and above, if you have 3.50 which is like the lower percentile for second class upper, you should..
still apply. This is because you made the academic cut off, and there might be other things that you have such as research experience, work experience, publications, volunteering and much more that the other applicants in your pool do not have.
Also, your last 4 or 6 semesters of undergraduate degree is usually considered in most western universities(this was the case for me in one of the offers I got).

So don't hesitate at all, try to improve in other areas and keep applying.

The University of the Fraser Valley invites applications from qualified academics wishing to be considered for the position of Postdoctoral Scholar at the Food and Agriculture Institute for a two-year term. The postdoctoral scholar will work with the Director and Associate

It's not every day scholarship, scholarship, on other days, let's talk about how you can land global job or internship opportunities.

So come Saturday, we will be doing something a little bit different. I will be hosting an ex-classmate who is now a GIS consultant with the WWF. Image
Those in the forestry and wildlife fields know how much of a big deal that is.

We understand the current job market is difficult, especially with many people stuck at home. Saturday's chat will emphasize how to build and keep relationships online as well as build your online...
presence which you can invariably tap into for future opportunities.

If you are interested in finding out how to set yourself up with some of these international opportunities, or how to network with global professionals for opportunities like this, then make it a date with us.

There is a popular adage where I come from that says "a person's house is far only when we do not love them".

My little 7-year old nephew wanted to send 2 bottles of maltina to me in Canada, when he learnt that a friend was coming down here from Nigeria. But of course,...

...he was then told that he can't send liquid here.
Undeterred, I was told he asked that they send me some of his biscuits and he was told once again that it is packaged goods and he might not be able to send it over except he unwraps it and put it in a ziplock. Boy wanted...

...to do that too.

To say that I was touched is an understatement, my love for the little boy just went waaaaay up!

A couple of weeks ago, @VictoriaChiny15 offered to recharge my phone, I declined. Then she insisted that she sent me some money as a gesture of appreciation.
