Yesterday my friend in Akwa Ibom boarded a tricycle to a popular market called Itam Market. A guy and a lady were the passengers and she joined them to become the third passenger. The female passenger had a baby, about 11 month old baby. The baby started crying so much suddenly.
The male passenger started playing with the baby and she stopped crying. Then the baby extended his hands for him to pick her up and the mother had no other option than to allow. At Itam market, under Goodluck Johnathan flyover, my friend alighted. The mother of
The baby also alighted, paid the rider and started walking away with the towel of the baby on her neck. My friend asked her “ Madam won’t you collect your baby?” She said no words and kept walking. The Keke sped away. My friend walked to her and shouted, “Madam they
have taken your baby away” but she seemed confused and kept going . My friend held the collar of her top and slapped her cheeks hard. All of a sudden, she started screaming “My baby! My baby!! My. Baby!! Other Keke riders have the Keke a hot pursuit but were not lucky
This morning, they just announced on Radio that an 11 month old baby is missing, last seen around Itam market, anyone with useful information should contact bla bla bla…..
The streets are rough. Pray before you leave home. Pray when you get back home everyday. Keep your baby at home unless it’s not possible. Never give your baby to a complete stranger even if your neck wants to break., no matter how nice they appear. Pass this on. .

The problem of Nigerian Pharmacists is not Doctors. The problem is Pharmacy technicians who spend less number of years, funds and efforts in school. Then come out and provide cheap labour for employers who would rather employ 5 of them to work on shifts than employ a real pharmacist
The problem of Nigerian Pharmacists is not Doctors. The problem of Nigerian Pharmacists is patent medicine dealers who even with no education, boldly practice what Pharmacists had to read for 5 years to be allowed to practice. You might say after all there are some drugs
that are controlled & only Pharmacies are allowed to dispense them but it will surprise you to know that some of them sell even the most controlled drugs &don’t even ask for prescription so while you are returning patients without prescription for Codeine they take all your money

There is a mistake many partners make.

A complete stranger comes to report your partner to you and you start saying things like,
"My brother/sister no vex, he/she is like that. "
"Forgive him/her. I will talk to him/her"
When you do this, you are bringing down your partner before a complete stranger, showing that you place the stranger above your partner. This reduces the respect the stranger has for your partner and in extension, for you.
Relationship is teamwork. What involves your partner involves you. You are supposed to be a team.

Have you tried saying,
"I can't respond until I hear from him/her first."
" I will get back to you when I hear my partner's side of the story."

So today my patient was a ritualist den escapee. He is 16 years old. He went to JAMB office to sort out issues. On his way back, he boarded a tricycle. He was initially close to the door of the keke but halfway, the passenger at the middle said he wanted to drop.
After removing his wallet, he told the rider that this doesn’t look like the place he wanted to drop, that it’s the next U-turn. He asked the young boy to shift to the middle after all he’d soon drop. He innocently shifted to the middle.
Next thing he removed a white handkerchief and he wasn’t himself again until he found himself in the middle of a bush. He was with the three younger guys(rider plus 2 passengers) that took him there and an elderly man.

I’m reating a 6 year old girl with full blown signs and symptoms of STIs.I kept pushing until mother told me that few weeks ago,she came back very early from work and discovered that when her female house-help picks her from school, she takes her somewhere before coming home
When she scolded her, she immediately ran away back to the village. She said she had been noticing unusual behavior like the child touching herself when she is alone but she just ignored it. Everything made sense when she started seeing discharge stains on her panties-A 6 year old
Please watch your children closely. Househelps are ruining children for their parents. Even if you have a tight work schedule, the few hours you spend at home is very important. Don’t just sleep and snore. If your child puts up unusual behavior, DO NOT IGNORE.

There is a tradition in Akwa Ibom and Cross River State called “Ekpo Nka Owo.” People in this states believe that if you cheat on your husband, during childbirth, the lanour will be prolonged and the baby and mother will be killed by the deity called Ekpo Nka Owo Image
Ekpo Nka Owo literarily means Deity of Adultery. Women suspected to be in this situation are usually asked to mention the names of all the men they slept with and confess to their husband a free which a fetish rite is carried out to appease the deity before the woman can deliver
