#MemberMention! @VMunro_Law is Prof of Law at @warwickuni [& a fiercely proud Glaswegian, mum of 2, & an equal-measure fan of cake & cardio]! She’s been researching & publishing on feminist legal theory in general & law/policy responses to VAW in particular for over 2 decades!

Much of @VMunro_Law's work has looked at decision-making in sexual offence cases & focuses mostly on criminal justice contexts, though also explores responses to claims of sexual violence in family, asylum, & university discipline contexts. warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/law/pe…

She has a particular interest in jury decision-making & #traumainformed justice! She recently worked on a major study of jury decision-making & a project exploring complainers’ experiences of receiving the ‘not proven’ verdict in Scotland! @rapecrisisscot

@VMunro_Law has also worked with @RefugeCharity to study the links between domestic abuse & suicidality, & was one of the academic coordinators of the Scottish Feminist Judgments Project!

@VMunro_Law is currently working on new projects exploring understandings & operations of coercive control [with @bettinson_v & Mandy Burton] & investigating the use of private & sexual history data in Scottish rape trials [with @sharoncowan22 & @EamonPHKeane1]!

@VMunro_Law is also a small part of the ESRC-funded @JiCSAV_ team [which includes other #VAWGRN members, co-led by @SiobhanWeare & @drlornaodoherty] which explores the justice journeys of survivors of adult & child sexual assault during the #COVID19 pandemic!
