Unique case filing against a new Jan 6 defendant

Fi Duong of Virginia

Duong faces lower-level charges (obstruction, disorderly conduct)... but court filings say undercover police & FBI worked Duong

And the accusations are striking

Prosecutors say undercover officers met Duong on Jan 6 in DC

In their court filings, feds allege Duong made plans to make Molotov cocktails and made a recon trip last month to Lorton, Va (near his home in Northern Virginia) w/ undercover agents to make future plans for testing of Molotov cocktails

He's been arrested..
One other note... because I'm seeing this in so many cases:

Feds allege Duong is heard on video saying "We're coming for you Nancy"

So many alleged threats against Nancy Pelosi in these Jan 6 cases

First: Jonathan Pollock who allegedly said "We didn't come all this way just to stand here .. just to push back the cops"
Feds say Pollock grabbed and pulled an officer down the stairs, punched multiple officers in the face and appeared to choke another

Court filings show images allegedly depicting Pollock leaping over others and engaging in hand to hand combat

Case I'm watching right now:

Detention hearing was originally scheduled for 230pm today in Jan 6 case of Robert Morss of Pennsylvania (might be delayed)

Morss is accused of multiple assaults on police at Capitol, stealing riot shields, coordinating mob ... and more

Prosecutors allege Morss brought the following to the Capitol on Jan 6:

Military utility bag
Black tourniquet
Fatigues

And they say he had notebook w/ writings that included "Step by step to create hometown militia"
Prosecutors say Morss faced off with police on multiple fronts. Outside during hand-to-hand combat. In the west front tunnel. And they say he breached a private hideaway office in US Capitol

Just read through Rep Mo Brooks (R-AL) legal filing today defending himself in lawsuit filed by Rep Eric Swalwell (D-CA) alleging Brooks helped incite the US Capitol insurrection with "start taking down names and kicking ass" speech

It's quite something

Rep Brooks specifies he was called by the White House on Jan 5 and invited to give the speech at Ellipse on Jan 6. And only did so because the White House invited him

He also says, at last minute, organizers tried to reduce the time he was allotted for speech
Rep Brooks' court filing includes the vote tally in his District for Trump and Biden

Arguing he was "representing the will" of the Alabama 5th District that day

Feds allege Haynes said those who assaulted police are "heroes" for "having the balls" to do something about election fraud

They say that photo is a selfie in a Senator's office

Judge is hearing this argument right now....

Judge says McHugh appears to have worked hard to get to the front of mob, riled up crowd (using megaphone) so much so that he had them in a chant response. She asks defense lawyer if McHugh was a leader on Jan 6

Keep an eye on this
Now we're hearing arguments over whether BEAR SPRAY is a dangerous weapon.

Defense lawyer is getting grilled by judge.

Personally, I would love to hear the opinion of an officer who was sprayed
Judge says there's a warning of "irreversible eye damage" and "hazardous to humans" on the actual spray bottle.
