Series of beatings against police and another defendant of carrying zip ties & chemical spray in new court filings

First: Jonathan Pollock who allegedly said "We didn't come all this way just to stand here .. just to push back the cops"

Feds say Pollock grabbed and pulled an officer down the stairs, punched multiple officers in the face and appeared to choke another

Court filings show images allegedly depicting Pollock leaping over others and engaging in hand to hand combat

Joseph Hutchinson is charged in same case. He's accused of charging at police line, kicking at officers and pulling an officer out of the way. And he's accused of throwing punches

There are others charged.....

Josh Doolin is charged in same case. According to court documents, Doolin is seen with zip-tie handcuffs in his belt and chemical spray

Olivia Pollock is charged in this case too... accused of striking police with her elbow and hands

Michael Perkins is final defendant named in case.

Feds allege he threw a flagpole at officers and was part of the charge against police line

The number of people charged with assaulting police on Jan 6 seems certain to rise, based on what court filings and FBI press releases are saying this week.

Court docket does not immediately show if any pleas have been entered

** Not brand new filings. But from recent days. Case is gonna be new to DC court

Jan 6 defendant Paul Hodgkins asks for leniency in new sentencing memo, saying "It takes courage & strength of character to be the 1st person to step forward"

Then invokes Civil War reference & asks to not be "cancelled"

Feds: Hodgkins carried Trump flag into well of Senate

But wait... there's much more

Hodgkins attorney throws haymakers at American culture .. saying we seek to "cancel one another", saying we are suffering from becoming a "post-Christian society" and fail to see each other as "brothers & sisters"

And.. another Civil War reference

Then the attorney invokes BLM, Freddie Gray, George Floyd and Trayvon Martin

And then he makes more Civil War references

And then he talks about protestors arrested at Brett Kavanaugh hearings (which another defendant invoked to get count dismissed.. and failed)

Case I'm watching right now:

Detention hearing was originally scheduled for 230pm today in Jan 6 case of Robert Morss of Pennsylvania (might be delayed)

Morss is accused of multiple assaults on police at Capitol, stealing riot shields, coordinating mob ... and more

Prosecutors allege Morss brought the following to the Capitol on Jan 6:

Military utility bag
Black tourniquet
Fatigues

And they say he had notebook w/ writings that included "Step by step to create hometown militia"

Prosecutors say Morss faced off with police on multiple fronts. Outside during hand-to-hand combat. In the west front tunnel. And they say he breached a private hideaway office in US Capitol

Duong faces lower-level charges (obstruction, disorderly conduct)... but court filings say undercover police & FBI worked Duong

And the accusations are striking

Prosecutors say undercover officers met Duong on Jan 6 in DC

In their court filings, feds allege Duong made plans to make Molotov cocktails and made a recon trip last month to Lorton, Va (near his home in Northern Virginia) w/ undercover agents to make future plans for testing of Molotov cocktails
