Devil in a Blue Dress is a 1990 hardboiled mystery novel by Walter Mosley, his first published book. The text centers on the main character, Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlins, and his transformation from a day laborer into a detective.
Devil In a Blue Dress was adapted into a 1995 film of the same name, which starred Denzel Washington as Easy Rawlins, and also featured Jennifer Beals, Tom Sizemore, Maury Chaykin, as well as Don Cheadle as the unhinged 'Mouse'.[
"Devil with a Blue Dress On" (also known as "Devil with the Blue Dress") is a song written by Shorty Long and William "Mickey" Stevenson, first performed by Long and released as a single in 1964. A later version recorded by Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels in 1966 peaked at
#4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. "Devil with the Blue Dress" was originally released as Shorty Long's debut single on Motown in 1964, but the single failed to chart. The song describes a femme fatale in a blue dress and not an actual devil.[2]
Two years later, Mitch Ryder
and The Detroit Wheels recorded the song as a medley with an original arrangement of Little Richard's "Good Golly, Miss Molly". "Devil with a Blue Dress On" was also recorded by Pratt & McClain, who are best known for the theme from the television series Happy Days. The Duke
University basketball pep band plays this song during Blue Devil home games at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.
Grange founded Osprey Global Solutions, a consulting firm and government contractor that offers logistics, intelligence, medical, security training, armament sales, financial forensics, construction and other services. And also philanthropic services through the Osprey Relief
Foundation. Grange also is the CEO of Osprey Armament, which develops specialized weapons and conducts beginner to advanced training at the Osprey Training Center in Council, North Carolina.[5]
In March 2011, just as the Libyan civil war was intensifying, Grange realized that
Libya could be a lucrative new market. Tyler Drumheller, a former CIA clandestine officer, who at the time had a consulting firm, advised Grange.[6] Grange, Drumheller and Sidney Blumenthal worked on the Libya memos with Cody Shearer, a longtime Clinton family friend and
Democratic political operative for the United States Department of State. During the Libyan Civil War (2011–present) Osprey Global Solutions sought to build field hospitals in Libya and train the country's national police after the fall of Muammar el-Qaddafi. In 2015, national
news reporting on the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's 2012 email controversy highlighted that Grange was requested by private sector executives to provide his subject matter expertise for Libya.[That course is Osprey Global Solution’s Executive Warrior Leader Course,

The name kestrel (from French: crécerelle, derivative from crécelle, i.e. ratchet) is given to several members of the falcon genus, Falco.
The American kestrel is the only New World species termed "kestrel". The American kestrel is a common bird used in falconry, especially by beginners. In early English falconry literature, the word "falcon" referred to a female peregrine falcon only, while the word "hawk"
or "hawke" referred to a female hawk. A male hawk or falcon was referred to as a "tiercel" (sometimes spelled "tercel"), as it was roughly one-third less than the female in size.
Historically, falconry was a popular sport and status symbol among the nobles of medieval Europe,
the Middle East, and Mongolian Empire.
The often-quoted Book of St Albans or Boke of St Albans, first printed in 1486, often attributed to Dame Julia Berners, provides this hierarchy of hawks and the social ranks for which each bird was supposedly
appropriate.
1Emperor: Eagle, vulture, and merlin
2King: gyr falcon and the tercel of the gyr falcon
3Prince: falcon gentle and the tercel gentle
4Duke: falcon of the loch
5Earl: Peregrine falcon
6Baron: bustard
7Knight: sacre and the sacret
8Esquire: lanere and the laneret
9Lady: marlyon
10Young man: hobby
11Yeoman: goshawk
12Poor man: tercel
13Priest: sparrowhawk
14Holy water clerk: musket
15Knave or servant: kestre
This list, however, was mistaken in several respects.
•1) Vultures are not used for falconry.
•3) 4) 5) These are usually said to be different names for the peregrine falcon. But there is an opinion that renders 4) as "rock falcon" = a peregrine from remote rocky areas,
which would be bigger and stronger than other peregrines. This could also refer to the Scottish peregrine.
•6) The bustard is not a bird of prey, but a game species that was commonly hunted by falconers; this entry may have been a mistake for buzzard, or for busard which is
French for "harrier"; but any of these would be a poor deal for barons; some treat this entry as "bastard hawk", possibly meaning a hawk of unknown lineage, or a hawk that could not be identified.
•7) Sakers were imported from abroad and very expensive, and ordinary knights
and squires would be unlikely to have them.
•8) Contemporary records have lanners as native to England.
In historic literature of Mongols, The Secret History of Mongol is one of earliest books that described Bodonchar Munkhag, first leader of the Borjigan tribe as having
first caught a falcon and fed it until spring. Through falconry, he not only survived, but also made it his tribal custom. His eighth-generation descendent Esukhei Baatar (hereo) was also in falconry, and he was the father of Genghis Khan. Through Genghis Khan's Great Mongol
empire, this custom was introduced to China, Korea, Japan, and Europe, as well as the Middle East.

Notes in the Mitrokhin Archive claim that more than half of the Soviet Union's weapons are based on US designs, that the KGB tapped Henry Kissinger's telephone when he was US Secretary of State, and had spies in place in almost all US defense contractor facilities. The notes
allege that some 35 senior politicians in France worked for the KGB during the Cold War. In West Germany, the KGB was said to have infiltrated the major political parties, the judiciary, and the police. Large-scale sabotage preparations were supposedly made against the US,
