It is either a sign that you are selfish or uninformed or that you simply lack compassion: to witness the unthinkable suffering and death we've come through, and to politically posture in the face of Science and empathy for others.

The doctor who tested us said that people refusing the vaccine are the single greatest ally the deadly variants could have, and the reason thousands, perhaps millions of people will get sick and die needlessly. Super job, Candace. Hope the follows were worth it.

It's a terrible thing when people have so painted themselves into a political corner that they have become adversarial to devoted medical professionals who have worked their entire levels to steward us through a disaster like this. Sadly, this is where some are, and she is,

One of the big takeaways from our COVID journey is to get your children tested immediately if they have symptoms.

The doctor who tested our daughter said we were the first positive child case in his clinic "...not because she's the first to get the virus here" he said, "but because parents don't bring their children in and get them tested."

By verifying her positive quickly, we set off the alarm for our family, began quarantine, and helped avoid inadvertently spreading the virus to hundreds of people before we developed symptoms.

To the people who say I'm not positive enough...

OUR COVID NEWS:

Hello Friends.

Two weeks ago, we took a family trip.

Three-quarters of us had been fully vaccinated since April with the Pfizer shot, with the exception being our 11-year old.

We'd been super diligent for a year and half and were hopeful we could finally begin doing some normal things, and left for our first family vacation since lockdown began.

This week has been rough.

Give me something you're grateful for, something that gave you joy, or something that simply made life better.

The other day my 15-year old popped open his bedroom door and said, "Wanna go grab lunch?"

He gives me joy.

Officiating a beach wedding for a friend on my birthday (Tuesday) and since my son's birthday is Sunday, we're making a family trip of it. First family trip post quarantine.

No one has been more supportive of the Democrats than me since the previous guy ran in 2016. I'll be doing everything I can to make sure they keep control of Congress and the WH, but that doesn't make them exempt from criticism. These days are critical and we need fighters.
