(1) This thread looks into the latest briefing No. 18 of Public Health England on #Covid#Delta cases and deaths.
Until 25 June 257 people have died within 25 days of a positive test, 92 were unvaccinated, 163 had at least one shot and for 2 the status is unknown(??)
(2) Preliminary Case Fatality Rate (CFR) is 0.21%. Among the <50 years of age, the rate is lower for the unvaccinated (0.03%) compared to the fully vaccinated (0.04%). For the > 50, CFR is 2.5 times higher for the unvaccinated (5.6%) than for the fully vaccinated (2.22%)
(3) Compared to the previous briefings, CFR for the fully vaccinated has increased by 0.45 percentage points, for the unvaccinated only by 0.03 PP. It is also disturbing, that among the >50, the CFR for the fully vaccinated is 2.4 times higher than for those with only 1 dose
(4) The report also shows, that the (preliminary) CFR of the Delta variant (0.2%) is much lower than that of the Alpha variant (1.9%), that has so far been the main Covid variant. So far the data does not support, that Delta is that much more deadly
(5) The quality of the report is poor: i) case numbers don't add up, ii) death within 28 days of a positive test can mean death from / with / unrelated to Covid, iii) there is no information, on how many cases are resolved (through recovery or death) and how many are pending,
(6) iv) no information is provided on obesity and underlying conditions, v) to divide the population just in two groups, < 50 and >50, is insufficient, vi) information on why the unvaccinated > 50 were not vaxxed is missing
(7) We need more quality information. Without it, so far there appears to be no need for the <50 to get vaxxed, even without considering adverse vaccine effects. The case for the >50 is un clear. It certainly doesn't convince us to get vaccinated

(1) A paper funded by the U.S. CDC and written by scientists associated with the Rockefeller Foundation, provides data questioning the official narrative, that the unvaccinated are driving the pandemic
(2) 68% of the fully vaccinated, but only 63% of the unvaccinated had a Ct value <25, which is indicative of a high virus load. The graphic above shows, that for asymptomatic cases, the mean Ct value was higher for the fully vaccinated
(3) Among the asymptomatic cases with a Ct value <25, only 29% of the unvaccinated were infectious, compared to 82% of the fully vaccinated. Is it possible, that the fully vaccinated contribute disproportionately to the spread of the virus?
(1) The latest #Covid#vaccine surveillance report from Public Health England (PEI) contains several surprises. Deeper analysis also raises serious questions about data validity.
Let’s start with infections, where vaccine effectiveness is negative in the age range 40 – 79
(2) A negative vaccine effectiveness means, that infections per 100,000 are higher among the vaccinated, than the unvaccinated. PEI must be fully aware of this, as it also publishes the chart below. But no comment is provided by PEI
(3) Hospitalization data reveals, that more of the fully vaccinated are in hospital than of the unvaccinated. Vaccine efficiency is not 96%, as claimed for the Delta variant in the report, but still above 80% except for the >70, which the vaccines should protect
(1) VAERS provides an overview of adverse vaccine events in the USA. EudraVigilance is the European equivalent. Its latest data shows 572,000 reports of suspected vaccine side effects and 6,448 alleged deaths
(2) Is the data reliable? We don’t think so, as reporting quality differs immensely between countries, ranging from 75 reports per 10,000 population to 5. Substantial underreporting or overreporting or both can be assumed
(3) A comparison with national data reveals some large differences. For instance, a report of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute in Germany lists 131,671 suspected cases (“Verdachtsfälle”) until 31.07.21. This compares to only 54,891 in EudraVigilance by 04.09.21
(1) The latest data from Public Health England (PHE) on the Delta variant, which accounts for 99.5% of all new Covid cases, does not contain any surprises. It shows that Delta has caused 1,091 deaths among the fully vaccinated and 142 deaths among the partially vaccinated
(2) A closer look at the two reported age groups reveals, that for those <50 years of age, the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) is lower for the unvaccinated (0.05%) than for the fully vaccinated (0.06%). Interestingly, at 0.01% CFR is lowest for those ≥ 21 days post dose 1
(3) Average CFR for the <50 is 0.04%. This means that people <50 have a 99.96% survival chance when they contract Delta. If they are not obese and have no underlying conditions, their mortality risk is almost zero. Why are there lockdowns and mass vaccinations for this group?
