I honestly can’t be assed about radical feminists forming coalition with right wingers. I’d rather not but meh, the entire point of politics is building connections.

Our bad faith detractors are gonna try to discredit us anyway. Even if we don’t go and work with the right, “left leaning” opponents of radical feminism are still gonna point to the “overlap” in our views, opposition to the trans movement, to tar us with the same brush.

They’re clearly not in good faith and are gonna find any reason to smear, slander, and dismiss us. So why keep playing their game? Why keep jumping through their hoops? Even if we don’t touch rightists with a ten foot pole and take the high way, you think they care?

It’s evident that they’re just looking for any excuse to bash radical feminism and radical feminism specifically because they can understand how horseshoe theory and purity politics are BS when it comes to them, or literally anyone else.

Literally every ideology “overlaps” an opposing one in some way. That’s not news. Christian conservatives, Hindutva fascists, and atheist liberals all hate Islam — and each other. Islamic fundamentalists, pagan Nazis, and atheist Marxists all hate Israel — and each other.

Both libfems and incels are pro-prostitution. Some wignats, like Richard Spencer, are pro-abortion because they like how it keeps the black population down. Both fascists and socdems are for a welfare state. These examples can be listed endlessly.

The point is, even apolitical normies can see that two (or more) ideologies/movements sharing a stance, even working together based on said stance, doesn’t necessarily make them the same at all.

So, why do the same lefty types loudly insisting that anti-Zionism isn’t anti-Semitic throw their own logic out the window to dismiss gender critical as anti-trans? They’re clearly being disingenuous. They can see damn well the difference, they’re just pretending not to.

Speaking of a certain group, lemme spill the T on Antifa. Marching with literal “fa” and Proud Boys their goddamn selves. Now wanting to act high and mighty over their ~former allies~ turning up at the #WiSpa protest, just this time not on their side.

If you see a problem with one but not the other, just stop pretending to clutch your pearls already and admit that your problem is with the views themselves, not the tactics used to express them. Be honest and consistent ffs.

TLDR, we’re gonna get a bad rep either way, no point in trying to play the purity politics game. We’ll never be good enough for them and that’s by design. They just want an excuse to silence radical feminists and not even listen to us, hence guilt by association smears.

The problem of optics is more legitimate, but like I said, they will find a way to link GC feminism to ~the far right~ even if we stay off of Fox News. Smart freethinkers, the sort of people we want in our movement, will see through this logical fallacy.

The rightists would be around even if we didn’t use their platforms, it’s not like Tucker Carlson would have died if a GC feminist had not gone on his cursed show. A few feminists appearing on right wing media isn’t what’s giving them their daily bread.

However, I’m not very sure about the utility of this tactic. Conservatives are against this for their own reasons already, it’s like preaching to the choir. And ofc people usually stick to outlets on their “side” so we’re not gonna be reaching who we really need to, the left.

And as for converting conservatives… very unlikely. There’s a reason why most radfems were normie liberals or mainstream leftists first. Despite their testerical insistence that we are right wing, our values and ideology are fundamentally leftist and therefore closer to theirs.

A conservative woman would have to completely 180 on like 98% of her views in order to become a radical feminist. Whereas progressive women only have to change 2% without any fundamental change in worldview or values.

Conservatives are against abortion. Radical feminism very much supports abortion. Conservatives are generally religious, or at least positive towards religion. Radical feminism is fiercely critical of religion.

Conservatives worship marriage and exalt the nuclear family. Radical feminism is critical of both and endorses separatism and anti-natalism. Conservatives are anti-gay. Radical feminism is very pro-gay. Conservatives love gender roles. Radical feminism hates all gender.

We’re literally those anti-capitalist lesbian babykilling witches that Pat Robertson quote warned you about.

We should not worry about catching right wing cooties. We know our values and we know what we stand for. A group of leftist lesbians isn’t turning into tradcon tradwives from breathing the same air as a Republican, our beliefs aren’t so fragile and their beliefs aren’t so good.

Trans activists are always saying that people know their own selves better than anyone else. Ok, radfems know ourselves better than any of you. They hate your movement because they’re misogynistic and homophobic, we hate your movement because YOU’RE misogynistic and homophobic.

Nothing is gonna stop us from being pro-choice, pro-gay, anti-theist, anti-porn, anti-gender, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, leftist, radical, feminists. And nothing is gonna stop us from standing for women. Seethe, cope, dilate, die mad about it.
