Wealth disparity works in nasty ways on big issues that skew equity that the wealthiest can not even begin to process.

Education is critical.
We all agree.
But… the question for all parents is how to send a child to private school or live in an area where public is exceptional and then to send that same child to college locally or get the pick of the litter of the world’s great universities.

For the 99%,
this is a GIGANTIC FINANCIAL HURDLE that barely resembles a DECISION.

It is an entire life struggle for the families of tens of millions of underpaid workers.

Rent and food and medicine take precedent.
There can be no plan but hard work.

For another group, the lucky few that used to appear to us as ‘middle class’ this is about saving & supporting the kid as best as they can… but the cash outlay is enormous & hurts the family’s ability to have the little luxuries like concerts, vacations or eating organic.

For the 1%…

THIS IS SIMPLY NOT A QUESTION.
THIS IS NOT A CONCERN.
MONEY DOES NOT EVEN FACTOR IN BECAUSE THE COST ISN’T A BLIP ON THE BOTTOM LINE.

THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.

IT DOES NOT PHASE THEM.

THERE IS PLENTY OF MONEY.

Hey RICH PERSON.

Imagine being crippled by the inability to pay for necessities while trying to do the best by your child.

…and in the end, not even having a choice to provide a clear path toward the best education for them that’s available.

It would hurt your soul, right?

This is why education reform needs federal attention & the obscenely wealthy need to begin to pay their way. I’m kinda tired of paying mine for their asshole kids to keep the silver spoons up their noses.
