It's gratifying that issue of mass infection has finally broken into mainstream. It's depressing because it comes after 2 months' of work with @dgurdasani1 to expose spread of Delta variant in schools & challenge the govt for suppressing the evidence. 
It's gratifying too that @IndependentSage's @Sir_David_King & @chrischirp & @globalhlthtwit & @SusanMichie & @Zubhaque & @GabrielScally & @martinmckee esp have been such clear, calm, moral voices in this moment. Though profoundly depressing for them that govt is ignoring them too
All we can do right now is to continue strategising, supporting & signal-boosting voices like these.
