SOME CAUSES:

🚬 Tobacco use, including smoking & chewing tobacco

🍻 Excessive alcohol use🍺

💉 Viral infections {like human papillomavirus (HPV) & Epstein-Barr virus}💉

🥒🥑A diet LACKING in fruits & vegetables 🍐🍉🍇🍍🍌
(my friends that don't like fruits, pls take note 😉)

OTHER CAUSES INCLUDE:

🤒Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) [a.k.a. Acid reflux; Heartburn]

❗🧯Exposure to toxic substances at work

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS of throat cancer may include:

▫️A cough
▫️Changes in ur voice (e.g. hoarseness or not speaking clearly)
▫️Difficulty swallowing

▫️Ear pain
▫️A lump/sore that doesn't heal

▫️A sore throat
▫️Weight loss

If u notice any of these in u, have a Dr check u out ASAP

🌟 PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. 🌟
BUT...

There's no proven way to prevent throat cancer from occurring 🤷🏻‍♀️

However, you can reduce your risk of throat cancer by doing the following:

❌🚭Stop smoking or don't start smoking. If you smoke, quit. If u don't smoke, don't start!

❗Drink alcohol only in moderation, IF AT ALL.
