Happening in Protea Glen Ext 13 right now, residents are stopping cars that are passing with looted goods. I'm witnessing a bakkie being offloaded now.

Once the cars are offloaded, the owners are asked to park on the side of the road and police are called to arrest them. One resident said they are helping the cops. So far 5 people have been arrested.

A GTi driver just resisted the "citizens arrest". He told the community that he didn't loot but was given the grocery and alcohol.

The good are going to be kept at the store room at the Engen garage. One community leader told me that they are going to donate them to a children's home.

This car was trying to run away but didn't make it. I've just established the owner is a metro cop.

A roadblock up the road from where I was earlier. Another group moved up after suspecting that some cars had been tipped off and used different routes.
