I've just been inside the one side of the mall. ALL these shops are EMPTY: Foschin, Mr Price , Truworths, Identity, Markham, Exact, Ackermans, Legit,Fashion World, Studio 88, an optometrist shop, Vodacom, a salon, Sheet Street @City_Press

Happening in Protea Glen Ext 13 right now, residents are stopping cars that are passing with looted goods. I'm witnessing a bakkie being offloaded now. @City_Press
Once the cars are offloaded, the owners are asked to park on the side of the road and police are called to arrest them. One resident said they are helping the cops. So far 5 people have been arrested. @City_Press
A GTi driver just resisted the "citizens arrest". He told the community that he didn't loot but was given the grocery and alcohol.

Another shopping complex is being looted in Protea Glen, it's 2 minutes away from the Protea Glen Mall. The looting, this time, is happening in full view of the police. @City_Press
The people have ransacked the Boxer supermarket, Fair Price and they are now inside the Boxer liquor store. People are passing with trollies full of groceries right next to the police & no action is been taken. @City_Press
