I forget where the piece was published but maybe 6 or 7 years ago there was a terrific article detailing how espn accidentally discovered the tebow effect and turned their entire non-broadcasting slate into opinion & debate to drive polarization & controversy. behold the result
it’s an absolute shame that their sports broadcasting team has to share a label with these assholes, who have turned the brand into pure garbage, a daytime talk show channel that sometimes airs sports
their college football broadcasting is as good as it gets, the nba is pretty good. they murdered their nfl coverage with a pillow, and the less said about baseball the better. would just pay for a spin-off college football network with the same people at this point

ross is right, this is definitely worth reading to learn how to take old conspiracies, pretend they’re true, then present them as evidence that your current conspiracy of choice is excusable
it is really hard to tell if ross & mbd are just facile dupes whose eyes glaze over & loins go turgid when they start reading this shit, or if they know exactly how duplicitous it is & are arrogant enough to believe no one could possibly see the magic trick here
