Uhh maybe bc Donald Trump was in charge and the GOP is objectively pro police abuse?
Also there were protests across the country about it. I mean...what?

Certain people have to pretend like the Cori Bushes are just operating on some different plane of politics - 'it's just the partisan lean of her district'- when in reality she's just terrible at politics, is a drag on the party & cares more about posting than anything else.

This whole thing is extremely funny, to me. I was just eating lunch and I saw that Politico tweet about Rodrigo being bad at parallel parking and forever reason this extremely dumb premise (the WH blowing it by not inviting Ariana Grande) just popped into my head.
I chuckled bc it was so stupid. I thought when I posted it some people would get it and others would find it believable (bc Politico publishes gossipy bullshit like that all the time). I thought it'd eventually get back to them & they'd be like, 'Uhhh no. We didnt' write that.'
But I thought it'd be a while and it'd be a pretty mild reaction. Instead, within an hour of posting, big diaper baby/editor of Politico Sam Stein was calling it 'disinformation' and summoning Twitter Support, which...I didn't really expect. I guess I should have, though.

Just taking this absurd Taibbi tweet at face value (rather than pointing out the obvious, that Matt & his buddies ignored/defended infinitely worse & more pervasive corruption during the Trump years)... it would be like a 2 hour story, tops. In reality, probably not even.
This is just so comical. Glenn was DEAD SILENT for 4+ years, when Trump & his family were profiting off the presidency like never before. And when he wasn't dead silent, he was whatabouting it with some weak tea 'whatabout duh Dems' BS. Such transparent, disingenuous wankers.

Extremely something (gratifying? enraging?) to watch all of the "Left" people slowly realize all of the things us dumb Libs have been saying about Glenn for years.
People say, "Oh I used to respect him. He was a great journalist." No. He's always been like this. It may have been a little more subtle but he's always been the same guy- a deranged, petty, dishonest ranting loon whose only concern is 'winning'; the truth is irrelevant to him.
And of course he always responds in the same way- with invective & ad hom, as he has for years. The TYT video lays out specific issues where Glenn is being dishonest and Glenn's response is this: "ACTUALLY you ignored the point, you sweaty, heavy-breathing lunatic."
