BJP'S intellectual "sub altern" Dalit Hindutva push

BJP appoints 33 year old Abhinav Prakash Singh, Assistant Professor of Economics at Delhi's SRCC College as National Vice President of UP, a largely symbolic post but significant one. He is Dalit & writes in favor of Hindutva.

Abhinav Prakash describes himself as "Right Wing Ambedkerite" and defends Hindutva by stressing upon Dalits being an integral part of the same. His elevation comes at a time, when BJP is aggressively pushing its so called "sub altern" Hindutva narrative to appropriate Dalits.

Abhinav Prakash is not the only Dalit youth intellectual face promoted by BJP.

Guru Prakash Paswan, Assistant Professor, Patna University has been appointed as (one of) National Spokesperson of BJP party. He also writes aggressively about Dalit aspirations under Hindutva.

Guru Prakash Paswan especially came into limelite when he wrote an Article in Print, suggesting that large participation of Dalits & OBC in "Kanwar Yatra" is indicative of "sub altern Hindutva".
