A) Ocasio-Cortez: We are seeing Cubans rise up and protest for their rights like never before. We stand in solidarity with them, and we condemn the anti-democratic actions led by President Díaz-Canel.
B) Ocasio-Cortez: The suppression of the media, speech and protest are all gross violations of civil rights. We also must name the U.S. contribution to Cuban suffering: our sixty-year-old embargo.
C) Ocasio-Cortez: Last month, once again, the U.N. voted overwhelmingly to call on the United States to lift its embargo on Cuba. The embargo is absurdly cruel and, like too many other U.S. policies targeting Latin Americans, the cruelty is the point.
D) Ocasio-Cortez: I outright reject the Biden administration’s defense of the embargo. It is never acceptable for us to use cruelty as a point of leverage against every day people.

B) A couple of things to watch for as Democrats assemble their massive $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill and lawmakers and aides are still toiling behind the scenes on the smaller, bipartisan infrastructure proposal.
C) The first thing is that we still don’t have bill text on the bipartisan plan. There are starting to be real questions as to whether this agreement will hold. It will come down to specifics.

1) Woody Allen famously declared that “90 percent of success in life is just showing up.” That other ten percent must be not showing up to block a legislative assembly from conducting business.
2) Most legislative assemblies, be that the U.S. House and Senate down to town councils require a “quorum” (frequently a majority of all members) to meet. If you can’t meet, you can’t pass bills or laws.
3) This is the exact scenario Texas legislators wanted to block the Texas legislature from meeting and passing its voting bill.

But, what is past is prologue.

1) McCarthyLast week, I asked Devin Nunes, the Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence to investigate several serious questions regarding the National Security Agency that have so far gone unanswered.
2) McCarthy: In addition to congressional oversight being stonewalled, there was a public report that the NSA read the private communications of Tucker Carlson, a Fox News host.
3) McCarthy: Today’s additional reporting on this issue raises serious questions about the NSA’s practices as it relates to American citizens. Ranking Member Nunes will initiate a thorough and aggressive investigation on behalf of the American people.

1) Fox has learned that the Capitol fence, encircling the immediate perimeter of the U.S. Capitol will come down starting July 8.
2) Officials installed a two layers of fencing blocking off the Capitol shortly after the January 6 riot. Officials removed the larger perimeter of fencing in the spring. But the inner fence remained..
3) That said, Fox is told there are questions as to whether the U.S. Capitol Police have the resources to protect the Capitol. Many officers have left or remain injured. Morale remains very low after the riot.

A) GOP GA Rep Greene: For the last 6 years, Democrats have called Republicans: Nazis, Fascists, White Supremacists, and Enemies of the State. It’s absurd Democrats accuse me of creating an environment of harassment for speaking at a Trump rally and defining them as who they are:
B) Greene:
Communists.

The truth is...

Cori Bush harassed me and it’s on video, then lied to get a bigger office.

Marie Newperson harassed me with a taunting video about her adult son.

The Democrat delegate from Guam harassed me by using the Nat'l Guard a
C) Greene: I receive constant harassment in public caused by the Democrat lies promoted by the media.

Democrats singled me out and kicked me off committees for doing nothing wrong, and the death threats haven’t stopped since.
