So purely by statistics, at least some of that 200M were likely to die within a month of getting a shot. Esp. since we focused shots early on the elderly.

Health officials are required to check if people who died were recently vaccinated. That doesn't usually happen. If some random person had a heart attack in 2019, no one would ask if he just got a flu vaccine 3 weeks earlier. That's why it's a shift from previous data.
So having 9-10K people reported having died within a short period of getting a vaccine over 6 months shouldn't be surprising. That does not provide evidence even 1 person died from the vaccine. But CDC has to check each reported death to find any patterns/concerns.
The same government bureaucrats that foolishly paused J&J vaccinations, undermining trust in that vaccine, over a dozen clotting cases aren't just ignoring 9-10K deaths. They are looking at each of them and determining no connection with the vaccine.
That's the only reason we know about Myocarditis cases which same anti-Vax people like to site (despite small number and mostly self-resolving). These things are actively being looked into constantly and recommendations made based on findings.
But no, 10K people have not died from vaccines. Vaccines have side effects, but they are incredibly safe and effective. Especially relative to Covid-19 where same people that highlight every risk w vaccines seem to think only death is a worthy measure.
Btw just so people understand the numbers here: When vaccines were just being administered to residents at long-term care facilities, CDC estimated we should see 11,440 unrelated deaths following 1.3 million shots. We have now administered 336 million shots.
