I had an experience today in my consulting room which made me cry. An aged woman came in and I needed her age to work with but She didn’t know it. Usually in these kind of patients, we use a significant life event to estimate their age.
So I asked her how old she was during the Biafran war.
She smiled and said,“That war that Obim them used their helmet and fetched water for us to drink.”She smiled harder when she noticed the confusion on my face. “We were walking with the soldiers for a long distance,” she
said. and they fetched water with their helmet for us to drink “
I dropped my pen and leaned against my consultation seat. I was yearning to hear more. Apparently her mother and father ran and left her with some other children because they were crying too much which was bad for
their hiding. A small group of Biafran soldiers took special interest in them and took them all the way down through their route
They’d share any meat they shoot down with them and then do one thing that this approximately 73 year old woman has not forgotten about the war.
They used their helmets to fetch water for them to drink whenever they got to a stream, because there was no other container.
They carried them all the way to a village she called Okrikan??? in Cross Rivers State where they saw a small group of adult civilians and dropped them
there when they were sure they’d be safe.

This is the same war that we heard stories albeit unconfirmed about Nigerian troops raping women & cutting food supplies to children making them die from Kwashiorkor and Marasmus.

Biafra was a great country and their
people were different in a way.

I learnt one thing from this woman’s story. Most people will forget your acts of kindness
as soon as they turn their back but there exists a small group who will hold it close to their heart forever. Because of that 1%, don’t stop doing good.
The Biafra war has ended and most of the soldiers are dead and buried but Obimnaetochukwu and friends stuck to the heart of someone forever for giving her water with their helmet when their own parents forsook them and hence saving them from death.
Obimnaetochukwu is the hero you might never read about in history books. I’m glad I discovered him today. May God bless him if he’s still alive. May he rest in perfect peace if he’s dead.

Billionaire Jeff Bezoz will go to Space today with 3 others. They will spend 4 minutes. Each paid $28 Million for it. Those who became “No one who makes genuine cash throws it around” motivational speakers during Obi Cubana’s mother’s burial, I hope you’ve seen
$28 million just to float in space for 4 minutes. Can you convert that to Naira? Should I shock you more? One of the passengers is an 18 year old Physics student whose Billionaire father paid the fare for him. $28 million just for your child to float in space for 4 minutes
Billionaires always lavish money. They just have different ways of doing it according to their interests and environment. Spraying money in parties is part of the African culture. It is not the culture of the west. Therefore western rich men have a different poison.

A real feminist only advocates for gender equality”
“A real feminist does not disrespect men”
“A real feminist does not argue about who is to cook at home”
“A real feminist does not hate men or marriage”

“A real feminist does not…..”
“A real feminist does not…”
My question is, with the hundreds of self-acclaimed feminists littering the internet, telling us how men are sc*m, how the world would have been a better place without men, how existence of men is a danger to women, how male children should not be breastfed because a male child
sucking breast of his mother is demeaning to womanhood and shows supremacy, how are we supposed to know the one that is a real feminist and the one that is not?

I ask this question because one of the first few feminists I came in contact with were the ones who upheld these

The opinion that if someone earns money legitimately, he can’t spray it carelessly is flawed and stems from deep-seated poverty mentality.

Richard Branson an American billionaire squandered close to $100m just to go to space for about 30 minutes
Mayweather splashes wads of cash on strippers booty
every Friday night.

Koda Black was throwing $100 dollar notes into the ocean the other day.

Okay let’s come back to Nigeria

Otedola bought his children 3 Ferraris that they never might drive. They are always in an entourage
Mike Adenuga threw a flamboyant party after his mother’s burial which can compete with that of Obi.

Can you say they all did that because their wealth was ill gotten?

Yesterday my friend in Akwa Ibom boarded a tricycle to a popular market called Itam Market. A guy and a lady were the passengers and she joined them to become the third passenger. The female passenger had a baby, about 11 month old baby. The baby started crying so much suddenly.
The male passenger started playing with the baby and she stopped crying. Then the baby extended his hands for him to pick her up and the mother had no other option than to allow. At Itam market, under Goodluck Johnathan flyover, my friend alighted. The mother of
The baby also alighted, paid the rider and started walking away with the towel of the baby on her neck. My friend asked her “ Madam won’t you collect your baby?” She said no words and kept walking. The Keke sped away. My friend walked to her and shouted, “Madam they
