2. It endangers millions of kids under 12 (who are not eligible to get the vaccine) and the immunocompromised (who might not get robust protection from vaccines).
3. And it also endangers everyone by giving the virus a chance to replicate and potentially mutate to something that can evade vaccines.
4. Beyond the health risks, it is also forcing children to continue to wear masks and take other precautions in order to attend school, etc. This likely wouldn't be necessary if more eligible adults were vaccinated.
