The inherent bias in our system to treat the two parties as mirror images of one another is preventing the nation from coming to understand how radical and dangerous the GOP has become.

"Bothsiderism," normalcy bias, etc has become one of the right's most powerful weapons.
Among areas where bothsiderism is doing most damage to Dems is on the economy.

16 yrs Obama Clinton = 34m jobs
16 yrs 2 Bushes Trump = 2m jobs

Biden more jobs in 5 months than 16 yrs of Bushes/Trump combined

In polls Biden, GOP even on economy rn.

I have a presentation on the bogus left/right framing of our politics. Called "With Democrats Things Get Better" it attempts to show how different - and better - Dems have been than Rs.

Barrack, Flynn, Manafort, Bannon, Stone, Cohen, Rudy, Gates, Broidy, Gaetz, Wynn, Parnas, Fruman - the scale of MAGA world's criminality should keep these guys from power for a long long time.

Did I forget anyone?
Yes, I forgot Weisselberg and the hundreds facing jail time for the attempted coup on Jan 6th.

Waking up today, and just continue to be shocked at how Republican and MAGA leaders appear to be content to let COVID ravage their communities once again. (1/x)

There is something so medieval, barbaric about what we are witnessing that it should be raising questions with voters about the nature of the rest of the Republican agenda and its clear lack of concern about the well being of every day people. (2/x)
Of course the anti-vaxx sentiment is going to, like the virus itself, spread and mutate, and start undermining other vital parts of our public health system. (3/x)

The GOP's COVID denialism is of such gravity that it should keep them from power for decades.

This stuff is a form of savagery, barbarism, outside the sensibilities of the modern West.
Who would allow their friends, families to be exposed, willingly to this threat?

And of course this anti-vaxx mania is going to spread to other vaccines, further weakening public health in the US, creating new health scares/threats, which will cost lives and money.

The 850k jobs created in June was an incredible number, and shows that Biden's economic plan is clearly working.

A short thread which helps puts Biden's early success in historical perspective. (1/x)
We've updated our jobs score card, and now have it:

34m jobs - 16 yrs Clinton Obama
3m jobs - 5 months Biden
2m jobs - 16 years 2 Bushes, Trump (2/x)
Jobs created by month, below.

Biden - 604k (5 months)
Clinton/Obama - 176k (16 yrs)
2 Bushes, Trump - 9,700 (16 yrs)

Biden 60x per month last 3 GOP Presidencies right now. 604,000 vs 10,000. (3/x)

So, some new graphs, our updated jobs score card.

34m jobs - 16 yrs Clinton Obama
3m jobs - 5 months Biden
2m jobs - 16 years 2 Bushes, Trump
Jobs created by month, below.

Biden - 604k (5 months)
Clinton/Obama - 176k (16 yrs)
2 Bushes, Trump - 9,700 (16 yrs)

Biden 60x per month last 3 GOP Presidencies right now. 604,000 vs 10,000.
Here's a bit more analysis, and why we think the repeated failure of the GOP over three Presidencies and 30 years to create jobs and a good economy is foundational to understanding their current dramatic decline as a Party.

We are at another “off ramp” from MAGA moment for the GOP.

Are Governors and leaders of low vaccine states just going to let their constituents die without waging a major effort to save them? (1/x)
The low vaccine states have the money, the know how and the backing of the US government to ensure that COVID doesn't ravage their communities.

A failure to take dramatic action now isn't conservative - it's barbaric, medieval, perhaps even criminal.

Proof of vaccination is required for schools and camps all across the country. There is nothing "woke" or anti-freedom about this.

Freedom in fact comes from not being ravaged by disease - what public health, modern medicine all about (3/x).
