Van Jones used his platform to push the false narrative “there was no smoking gun” when the smoking gun was clear by 2016: Putin’s top American political operative running the campaign of his longtime business partner, a KGB asset/Russian money launderer, as Russian Intel helped.

Criminal reform was overdue but Trump’s criminal regime moved forward on it not for the sake of human rights but to weaponize it as a campaign strategy to secure a second term that would have been pure devastation for the U.S., yet Van Jones said this in 2020:
