Front-loading on carbs tends to lead to an "energy crash" (this is especially true for today's common diets of ultra-processed foods).

The solution?

- intermittent fasting

OR

- a high-protein breakfast
#2: Input

This has the ability to transform your life...

- your peers
- the food you eat
- content you consume

ALL impact your energy & mood.

Swap the mainstream news for a podcast.

Trade your negative "friends" for high-energy supporters.

Input = Output
#3: Alcohol

Alcohol is a depressant.

- Disrupts REM sleep
- Impairs brain function
- Increases stress & anxiety

#4: Lack Of Exercise

This may puzzle you...

Doesn't exercise take up your energy?

NOPE.

Exercise is shown to release endorphins and also contribute to improving heart & lung health.

You spend too much time on things that don't move the needle.

This leaves you tired and frustrated.

Adopt the 80/20 rule:

It states that 80% of the results come from 20% of the actions.

#6: Poor Sleep

Does your phone work if you never recharge it?

Nope.

Why would your body be any different?

- No screens before bed
- Set a consistent bedtime
- Lights out on time, no excuses

Aim to get 7-9 hours of sleep every night.
#7: Corrupt Cortisol Pattern

An optimal cortisol pattern is one that has a spike shortly after awakening and slowly tapers down throughout your day.

Here's how it's done:

- get light upon awakening
- exercise earlier in the day
- avoid food & stress at night

#8: Naps

You nap because your sleeping habits are subpar.

More naps = more trouble falling asleep at night

It's a nasty cycle.

If you want to perform with high energy all day, you must avoid naps.
#9: Dehydration

Dehydration is terrible for your energy levels:

- sleepiness
- headaches
- muscle cramps

Aim to drink about 0.7-1 gallons of water per day.
#10: No Purpose

When you've identified the true purpose that makes you tick, springing out of bed every morning becomes EXCITING rather than a chore.

No purpose = no energy

Clear purpose = clear energy

Take time to journal this out and gain clarity.

People glued to the news to stay “informed” seem to be the most out of touch with reality.
Most people forget that the news is a BUSINESS.

Their #1 goal is $$$.

They do not care about "informing the public"

They do care about saying what will attract the most attention and elicit strong emotions.
The news also creates FALSE perceptions in your brain.

This is due to the availability heuristic.

If you watch the news consistently, you will believe that:

- racism
- sexism
- acts of violence

are MUCH more common than they actually are.

WRONG.

Obesity puts you at a greater risk for:

2) Normalizing Low Standards Of Life

Do you really think it should be normal to suffer from:
