It’s time to break some real stuff down for you cucks.

There’s dude levels. One thing I appreciate is young guys being like “you fatass dad I hope I NEVER lose it like that.” That’s legit. You have no idea but also you are correct: dadding and life happening is no real excuse.

Being out of shape is gradated thing causally, OK, but as it moves towards extremes is indeed indicative of problems. There’s no doubt about this. I could write essay regarding my own life and failings and the bottom line is life happens, etc. but your body is on you as a man.

Now if you think by becoming jacked in your twenties—which I am for at all ages—that you are somehow thereby going to become Napoleon…OK, I have news for that extreme as well. Napoleon was not… Anyhow. This isn’t our problem. Out of shape guys are.

But what does crack me up are men who were never in shape or didn’t even play any kind of “sportsball” ever who deny that any of this is important. That’s just batshit crazy. Please, stop. Yes, the kids have it easy and you don’t have time—make time. You and I don’t have excuses.

As to the younger failings — well, look. It’s all good. I’d just say don’t let it fall into weird vanities, but strength and deeper health.. Even some of our…very online frens…don’t talk much about what the actual strongest men in the world look like. Which is a shame.

In sum: yeah, it’s absurd to rip on most men who’ve married & have kids for not spending hours a days/looking like Arnold. But FFS, they should be much better on and realize the physiological importance of taking this shite seriously. And our standard should be strength.

Finally. Don’t reject the idea of strength and fitness—we must strive— but don’t make it effete either. We need to strive to tie it to higher and nobler things. It’s not necessarily fancy. It’s tied to real common goods, starting viscerally with wives and family.
