Full validation #ethereum node synced (pruned mode) running @ErigonEth in a @Raspberry_Pi 4. I guess this is game over for the "it is impossible to sync a full Ethereum node" narrative. Congrats to the team for developing such an amazing client. 👇 Image
Again, this is a full validation node, so it verifies all blocks and executes all transactions that ever happened in the Blockchain. And all this is done with a <200 € hardware set up.
Some data:

Device: Raspberry Pi 4 8 GB RAM (ARM64)
Disk: Crucial MX500 1 TB
USB Case: ASM1051E chipset

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.2 ARM64
Erigon: 2021.07.2-alpha
Erigon params: --blockDownloaderWindow 32768 --storage-mode= (pruned)

Sync time: 17 days
DB Size: 434 GB
Erigon is getting better and better each day and it is here to stay. We managed to cross compile it and created a Debian package. If you are running our Ethereum on ARM image you can give it a try by running:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install erigon
Start it by running:

sudo systemctl start erigon

Remember to stop other Eth1 clients. We configured RPC in the 9092 as the 9090 default conflicts with Prometheus.
You can create your own package as well using our FPM scripts. Just clone our repo:

git clone github.com/diglos/ethereu…
Go to fpm/erigon directory and run:
make prepare && make deb

This will cross compile Erigon and create the Deb package.
If you have an available Raspberry Pi 4 (8 GB RAM recommended) and an SSD disk (USB 3 connection) you can install our image and run an Ethereum node by following these instructions:
