(Public library branch in walking distance just reopened for in-person services and I’m trying not to run as I head there now. This feels like religious salvation.)

And now I shall turn off my phone, and read while I wait, with earplugs in, for salvation by the way of an extension cord delivery — and the glorious promise of concentration that’s finally so close I’m salivating.
Update: sitting inside the library and having the chance to work outside the house was all I could have hoped for and more.
It’s mind-blowing to realize how much COVID precautions and closures have impacted my ability to concentrate, regardless of other contingencies.
