Everyone who would comply with a mask mandate is already vaccinated.
Sure, vaccinated people have a slightly elevated chance of getting a much more mild form of COVID-19 from all of these anti-vaxxers, but that is not what is not hospitalizing & killing people, that is not what is allowing this terrible disease to mutate.
If you are vaccinated & live in a high risk area: you should wear a mask indoors, you may want to avoid being indoors, especially if you are in a high risk group. I am sorry, but your neighbors suck and their death wish is making your life worse.
And I have 2 children who are too young to be vaccinated, even living in relatively safe location I am starting to be more careful about where they go: and again, it sucks, because this could have all been avoided if Republicans did not convince their supporters to not get vaxxed
I guess what I am saying is (1) I am super pissed Republicans & Fox News for spreading anti-vax propaganda, and their supporters who could all be vaxxed right now, but are instead risking their lives (32k+ in hospitals!) to make all of our lives less comfortable ...
(2) I am supper pissed at the mainstream media for refusing just squash blatant Republican & Fox News scheme to surge hospitalizations & deaths so they can blame President Biden ...
(3) Mask mandates are a band-aid: we need vaccination mandates to get the anti-vaxxers vaxed, and get US back on track.
