On Singapore, @Khairykj said Temasek invested in BioNTech in 2020 to develop the Pfizer vaccine.

“I assume if Temasek owns the company, they get earlier access.”

Malaysia is procuring a new batch of Pfizer doses soon for 2022, that is specific for booster doses and for vaccinating children

On booster dose: Masih menunggu syor pakar sama ada perlu atau tidak booster dose.

Also looking into mixing vaccine brands.

Sinovac tidak dikeluarkan daripada portfolio PICK, kerajaan cuma sudah selesai guna. Nothing stopping the government to procure more later if the need arise.

Gov tak sarankan buat antibody testing, based on FDA & CDC recommendation.

Standardisation and guidelines for such tests belum ada.

Sabah will get single dose Cansino first when we get it for kawasan pedalaman.

But KJ does not rule out the need for a booster dose later on.

On variant:

Pfizer and AstraZeneca is effective against Delta variant.

Sinovac also shows good protection against the variant.

In practical cases, gov can consider requests via MySejahtera Helpdesk to change vaccine types, particularly for students who need vaccines that comply with the regulations of the country they are going to
