I didn’t want to merge Covid and Olympics on this thread but - our athletics team were thrown into iso today after a pole vaulter trained at the same facility as a positive case. Everyone was tested though and we are A - OK. All negative. Back to regular programming.

1988 Olympics doves were released. Problem was - they all landed on the Olympic cauldron which was - lit. As billions of horrified viewers watched the birds were roasted. Live birds were never used again.
