Peterhead is a Coastal Community on a rather inhospitable stretch of our coast. Our RNLI Volunteers are very active saving lives regularly and we appreciate their efforts and bravery.

Recently the RNLI have suffered a wee bit of a backlash as they also operate in the English Channel and in doing so have saved many Migrants attempting dangerous crossings from drowning.

If someone's boat breaks down because they haven't maintained it properly, they don't judge.... they rescue
If a migrant boat gets into trouble, they don't judge.... they rescue
