Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying could take this moment to say something completely uncontroversial - for example, "vaccinated people should wear masks" - however their patrons are both mask adverse and vaccine adverse, so stating something so factual would be financial suicide
instead of
"Vaccination is not enough by itself to stop the spread of variants, study finds"
perhaps a better title would have been:
"Vaccine hesitancy combined with relaxed restrictions make variants more likely"
The vaccine hesitant are the problem, not the vaccinated.

Vaccines have clearly lowered mortality by an extreme degree, this alone is enough to argue for their universal use. If *quick adoption* of the vaccine also totally obliterates COVID, that's great! If *slow adoption* just makes it endemic, then the *slow people* are the problem
The problem is that these *slow people* are the first to throw up their hands and say "but you promised the vaccine would end the virus!". This is a lie about what vax experts have said, a misreading of the situation, and also proving that these people are 'slow' in many ways
