A kinda quick review of #BatmanTheLongHalloween Part 2, shall we?

Ok lets start by the main difference: the first one is way heavy-centric on the investigation and the mystery of who is Holiday killer, and that not the question aren't made along the movie of who he is, but the Part 2 is WAY more character centric. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

The journey of Bruce Wayne and the different interactions along the second half of the "Long Halloween" is really a heavy examination of why he's fighting for as Batman, and what means for him as Bruce Wayne. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

I wish to see more of the first 4 months, what could have helped to stabilish better the Two-Face persona in the movie. The start of the movie is literal montage/resume of why Poison Ivy is controling Bruce Wayne. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

OK, we get it, the fact of in a certain point Harvey become a suspect of becoming the Holiday Killer broke him and let the monster unleashed, but this is a element what could be better fleshed out. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

And i think is a wasted opportunity connect the motif of the coin with Falcone, making him have a past with Harvey and use as a remind of his dark side, and if he could do the worst to get the job done. [+] #BatmanTheLongHalloween

Besides this, it make undestandable that the coin of Harvey is a reminder os a rigged and corrupted system, and now as Two-Face he can actually do true justice, but the coin is also there to make oposition of what the coin means to Bruce [+] #BatmanTheLongHalloween

not just to highlight his relationship with Falcone, but also the motto of do whatever you can for what you devoted to. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

Which also make clear that, at certain point, all the decisions of Falcone are to protect the famiglia, even that ended with hauting consequences. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

Even that Catwoman journey have a over-fast resolution, is nice to see her have agency and becoming more and more present in the history, as she ends together with Bruce in a healthy relationship, for both of their (double) lives. (#BatCat rights!!!) #BatmanTheLongHalloween

But what made me really excited is the fact of even they have changed everything at the end of Part 1, they still found a way (mindblowing to me at least), to connect the dots back to the original ending of the book. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

They made a lot of stuff makes sense, and make Antonio's death even more tragic in the process, reinforcing the theme of "what you do for protect your sense of family" present heavily along the Part 2. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

They also invest in the agressive expansion of the Tomorrowverse, with a cool post credit scenes at the end, and a resolution that maybe even the price paid for fight the mob was high, maybe there still factual hope for Gotham's future. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

Also some few cool details worth comment: the first time that Batman use a white suit, EVER, outside the comics in a motion picture is here. Poison Ivy shows again that Warner Bros Animated Studio have the HORNIEST MFs on earth, DAMN. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

Also, the surprisingly heavy-horror centric Scarecrow fight, and Batman having serious mommy issues with Catwoman was unexpected, but fun to see. #BatmanTheLongHalloween

At the end, besides prefereing the Part 1, #BatmanTheLongHalloween Part 2 shows a different, but complementary closure for the history, and still deliver a adaptation worthy of the original material. They made a iconic & recommended double feature, to make company of Miller's DK.
