Let me make something clear: 🧵

By sharing the video i posted. I agree with the sentiment. Meaning the attitude toward a situation.

I PERSONALLY don't believe in faith based support because I am non religious: meaning not relating to or believing in a religion.

My faith goes as far as: something put us here, if you want to call it 'xyz'. Then that is on you. I don't want to be wrong in the end.

I believe there is something greater than us as the human race.

There is OPINIONS that Andy has shared that i do not 100% support but i don't speak against it because he is on a different path from mine. So whom am i to say how he should drive in his lane when i am in my own lane.

"But he worked with TRUMP". No. he worked with the Government. The White House. Even the White House is known to detach it's self from time to time from the President. You can argue that the Government is it's own entity from the President.

When the cabinet showed up. That is the Government. Not the President. Either way, The Government didn't help after taking a tour of skid row.

So if i email the White House, does that make me a Biden supporter? No. I am trying to get the GOVERNMENT to do something, to intervene

So if i can persuade the White House to do something, does that mean I'm working with Biden? No. That means I got the GOVERNMENT to do something.

This has ZERO to do with NIMBY or being a YIMBY. This has everything to do with trying to get something done.

One day people are allies, next day they're enemies. A week from now they are best of friends.
Ideas change. People intentions change. Paths will cross each other for the best or for the worst reasons.

This happens all the time.

best example i can give is: You help a unhoused person with food. Tomorrow night they show up at your house not knowing it is. They break in. They see your face. They remember the good you did. They apologize & leave.

Does this make them your enemy or are they they still the grateful stranger you helped but they didn't know it was your home and they are just trying to do what they need to do to put food in their bellies ?

After calling the police. They get picked up and go to jail. Two years down the road you run into them again because you were in a car accident & they are the EMT trying to save your life. Does this mean they should not try to save you after you put them in jail?

They do their job as a EMT. You were saved by the person you put behind bars whom accidently broke in to your home just to get something to eat. You still had them locked up after they apologize & left.

This is what i mean by ideas change, people change, intentions change.

If i refuse to work with people because of their opinions. Then how am i supposed to help the situation? At that point i am hindering because i am slowing down my goals. I didn't know USICH was a thing till Andy mentioned it.

Had i chosen to ignore him because he is more of a faith based help. I would of never learned this. My opinions of faith based help/healing would of blocked me from gaining knowledge.

When being a advocate. IMO: One shouldn't allow their own opinions of another (if it be a person or a org) to hinder their chances of learning something.

There is always somebody who knows more than someone else.

Have you considered that someone is always manipulating someone to gain something?

Feeding 900+ people daily doesn't come freely or cheap.

When i go to the middle class cities to panhandle. It doesn't matter if it's a NIMBY or YIMBY. I'm going where the money is that will feed me for that day or week.

When you work, before you accept a job.

Do you care if the CEO is a TRUMP supporter or a NIMBY Or do you only care about getting that paycheck. Money in your bank account. Money in your pocket.

IF you care so much, better start googling.

The end justify the means in some situations. This is how it works. Even working in sales, you're suddenly not gonna decide to not sell to a NIMBY or a YIMBY because by not selling to them, no paycheck, no job. AGAIN the end justify the means. You're gonna sell. Period.

As a advocate. I have to be willing to listen, see & hear from all kinds of people & orgs. I'll pick up on things from them here & there. Just because I am listening & watching doesn't mean I agree or support.

I am allowed to have my opinions but I don't let those opinions cloud my judgement. Being that narrow-minded with the blinders that focused is a hinder.

WITH ALL THAT SAID.

Everyone should focus on getting results. Learn from each other & if momma didn't teach you anything: If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything.
