today i saw a commercial for @RocketMortgage and their dedication to helping veterans here at home..@JDFarner is the Ceo..I reached out desperately to rocket mortgage and every company who claims to support and want to help veterans and veteran housing crisis and was disappointed

As most of you know my veteran family has been fighting not one but now two garbage mortgage companies trying to keep from losing our home. We have don everything they have asked and time after time thrown on forbearances that dont actually help and in fact worsen the problem

My husband has has given 12 years to a country that has turned their backs onus, and its the same nightmare horror story for a now rapidly growing number of veteran families trying to just save their homes and not become the next vet family on the streets.

The response i got, which with ceo's being too busy to directly respond, was ofc the same as all the others..."bound to adhere to the requirements and rules given to them by their investors.so its not veterans but the investors who fund them that matter.

money and profits before people. They try to pass the buck, but the bottom line is we are still in a pandemic, veterans are still struggling to find and keep jobs, housing is still a basic human right, and keeping veterans in their homes should matter before all ese as it is

these same veterans who bravely served this country, defended its people and our rights and freedoms each and every time they were called upon. You would think keep them housed would be the least thank you the wealthiest country in the world could give them.

out of time and options I am hereby calling out all you mortgage companies, investors like @GinnieMaeGov and veteran supports as well as media companies to stop start actually stepping up for veterans and saving homes and lives, before its too late. They deserve better.

The @DeptVetAffairs receives a large amount of money every budget, with a good sum earmarked for housing, yet not only do they not keep a close eye on the companies who are fortunate enough to carry va home loans and veteran lives,

but there is also NO financial help for underwater mortgages. Four years of emails, extensive documentation, thousands spent on legal help, with again nothing but a denial and no help to help us keep our home. Donating to veteran housing programs is great,

but stepping up and saving homes and families lives of veterans who served this country is the only actual help veteran families need. Congress members have responded to me with how they know theres a crisis and problem but bipartisanship is standing in the way.

utter garbage, considering its not a political party issue to keep very veterans who were called on to fight the political wars they often didnt agree with, and did so without hesitation and bravery. No, this is a grand failure by a government, by mortgage companies,

investors, and states..to make sure that the real patriots and their families of this country at the very least dont come back from fighting wars, only to fight a war here at home, with them fighting to just keep their families housed, fed, healthy etc..This is exactly

why we started KeepOurVetsHoused.org. My family needs urgent help before the end of august, but the growing list of families like mine facing the same damn thing is proof that veterans are being failed,

and while a great marketing tactic to claim they want to help veterans stay housed, underwater mortgages a re a serious problem not because they buy houses they cant afford, but because life has turned upside down for them through no fault of their own

and this country has no plan to help them stay housed if mortgage holders are allowed to play games, draw time and missed payments out, and ruin veteran lives...So im asking everyone reading this, to start getting loud and contacting these companies and their investors, and ask

them what are they doing to help underwater mortgages, what programs are they creating and making veterans aware of to help them save their homes. And if the mortgage holder (which i cannot name) like ours offers nothing but forbearances that literally do nothing but add

to the problem with piled up missed payments, to help hold them accountable. My family may not matter to anyone in this country after 12 yrs of service, but all of the hundreds soon to be thousands who are going to lose their home to the same do matter, and i speak for them!
