I've browsed the entire collection of @Webflow templates and curated my TOP 30 out of hundreds for you with short reviews and previews.
I hope this thread helps you appreciate #nocode tools even more and bring your ideas to life faster. If it does, please like and retweet.
Templates are meant to serve as inspiration and a collection of assets to help you develop your vision. But they are not the final product.
What I look for in a template is originality, reusability, storytelling, fair pricing, and a visual X factor that helps it stand out.
You can preview any template in your browser to see how it works or open it directly in @Webflow's designer to see how it was built.
It's a great way to learn how to use this platform. If you like a particular component and have the patience, you can also replicate it yourself.
The following templates were selected based on my personal preferences and experience as a product designer. They stood out for me out of all the great templates @Webflow has to offer created by talented makers.
Tom and his team have created so many valuable @Webflow templates and assets, it's impossible to highlight any particular one. Discover them at flowbase.co and checkout the new Component Club!
Elastic develops some of the greatest @Webflow UI kits. I've used a few of them and this one is pure sophistication. Elegant design, clean structure, and excellent attention to detail. It can fit so many needs.
Pablo has published 61 templates. This one caught my eye instantly. The intro slide commands your attention and leads you into clean sections. The masonry design can be used more to spice up the experience.
This portfolio template doesn't feel like a boring portfolio. It engages you in its design instead of treating you like a passive reader. Take these ideas and build on them. Expand the experience, tell a deeper story.
Another excellent UI kit by Elastic featuring dozens of useful components and exuding professionalism. So many ideas were expressed in this template. You can combine them to express any of your ideas.
Horizontal scrolling is tough to nail. It can easily end up feeling like a gimmick because we're trained to scroll vertically. Fouroom used it correctly though and crafted a slick modern experience.
A production-ready dashboard template containing over 30 pre-designed pages and a vast array of customizable elements that can help you design web applications of your own.
A veteran template from a veteran @Webflow designer designed for publishing podcasts, courses, and more. Mackenzie is an excellent teacher. If you want to elevate your #nocode game, visit Flowmingo.co.
Agency templates tend to be very cookie cutter. I like how this one broke out of the mold with the use of negative space, smooth transitions, and creative use of interactions. I especially enjoyed the orange markings.
This versatile template combines parallax, photos, and videos to tell a beautiful story for your studio, shop, or agency. These rich visual components can be combined in many ways to tell all kinds of stories.
This clean and smooth horizontal scroller is a step out of the ordinary. I enjoy scrolling back and forth on my tablet. This experience can be expanded to take visitors even deeper.
Dear @Webflow, please remove or ask designers to update templates that use legacy interactions and components. Some of the templates I tested were broken, such as GRIDDED by Rowan Hartsuiker.
Thank you for checking out my reviews. Big shoutout to all the talented makers that did and didn't make my list. You're all awesome. I loved reviewing the whole library. Keep rising and elevating #nocode!
In March, @KaraviasD and I began developing @Restepio to automate making and learning. We decided to #buildinpublic and aimed to launch on June 1st. We need some more time to polish the experience.
🧵 Here's our journey and what we've learned creating Restep.io
We started creating the first multiplayer platform for creators called Schema, which led to breakthroughs in automation and our pivot to Restep.io. Clone our @Webflow prototype. webflow.com/website/Schema
2 - Our lead developer @Thanos_ksk snapped his fingers and found a way to automate @Webflow like never before.
We realized we could use this tech to click in your browser and repeat any workflow on your device for you on request. Restep.io was born in March.
