ACTION ALERT🚨 We have dealt with the consequences of disinformation spread by doctors abusing their expertise & enough is enough. It’s time to report them to the medical boards that legitimize their behavior—we want YOU to help discredit #ADoctorADay. #NoLicenseForDisinformation

The Federation of States Medical Boards, which represents medical boards, released this statement on misinformation, highlighting how public trust can be eroded by professionals trafficking in dangerous information— and how it puts us all at risk. #NoLicenseForDisinformation

Unfortunately @TheFSMB does not have power to address individual physicians, which is why we need YOU. We will be highlighting #ADoctorADay— showing you their egregious behavior, & listing the phone numbers YOU need to call to help make sure there’s #NoLicenseForDisinformation.

We want inboxes full of complaints, phones ringing off the hook. Each state’s licensing is different, so we’ll help make sure all bases are covered in daily threads, but we need YOU. Do not let Medical Boards allow this harmful behavior to continue. #NoLicenseForDisinformation

While we have a list of practitioners to begin with, but we know there’s more disinfo docs than we can count. We need YOU to name names so we can make sure these dangerous actors are held to account, & REALLY do no harm. Reply or qt with names, or DIY! #NoLicenseForDisinformation

We’re talking about doctors who have:
• downplayed the seriousness of #COVID19
• denied the effectiveness of masks
• pushed unproven and/or ineffective treatments & medications (like hydroxychloroquine)
• shared conspiracy theories about vaccines

Docs like the one pictured—insurrectionist Simone Gold—who engage in spreading deadly #COVID19 disinfo have faced virtually no consequences so far. They helped create mass shortages of HCQ for disabled folks already #HighRiskCovid19, it can’t continue. #NoLicenseForDisinformation
