This appears to be correct. Southbound GR train 508 is holding @ Mt. Vernon Sq not continuing south; northbound GR/504 is holding @ Navy Yard not continuing north. #wmata

So if I have this right:

* OR/SV/BL bypassing L'Enfant Pl
* GR suspended b/t Navy Yard & Mt. Vernon
* YL suspended north of Pentagon City
* BL suspended b/t Arlington Cemetery & Pentagon City

Delays all around, today. #wmata
To be clear: BL/YL trains are not running through Pentagon station. Trains are turning back on either side, so you cannot stay on the same train if your destination is on the other side of the Pentagon station. #wmata

About 6 hours after this morning's incident at the Pentagon...

* No Metrobuses stopping @ Pentagon, relocated to Pentagon CIty

* YL service runs Huntington-Pentagon City

* BL runs in 2 segments: Largo <-> Arlington Cemetery, and Pentagon City <-> Franconia

The #wmata Ops 3 desk began instructing Yellow/Blue line trains to bypass Pentagon & not service at appx 10:50. Two trains were used to clear pax from the station's two platforms and were last to service by ~11am. #wmata
#wmata restored Blue and Yellow Line service through Pentagon (trains are still not stopping tho), meaning BL trains no longer offload @ Arlington Cemetery & Pentagon City at appx 1:45p

There was no MetroAlert sent at the same time.

This could help explain why #wmata continued to run normal train service through Pentagon yesterday until 10:50 at which point trains were instructed to bypass the station.
Some very quick signage work by @Metrobusinfo to try and help with the rerouted buses in Pentagon City. #wmata

A "small bump" in the ride was reported by a #wmata employee on the inbound track after departing National Airport. Single-tracking continues via the outbound track. Delays, both directions.

RD/Shady Grove train delays due to a disabled train outside of Takoma.

#wmata has dispatched a railcar mechanic to assist the operator with the error.
RD/Farragut North train 204 with the software issue is on the move, will be offloading @ Fort Totten. #wmata
The bad Red Line train is on its way at 15mph to Brentwood Yard (between Rhode Island Ave & NoMa), so delays should begin to reduce once it gets there. #wmata

"Today, Metro announced a delay of at least five months to complete construction of the Potomac Yard Metrorail Station"

Metro blames its own ATC system design in the PY plans for the delay, says it wasn't safe.

Alexandria statement re: the Potomac Yard delay calls the ATC issue a "contract language mistake" regarding ATC technical specifications (also that it is "inexcusable")

#wmata informed Alexandria of its decision to delay the PY opening for ~5 months to fix the ATC design issue it found, not the other way around. Not sure why Alexandria would know more about the issue than the agency's own staff...

Yellow/Blue line delays due to an unauthorized person on the roadway @ Pentagon City.

Delays, both directions. #wmata
Due to someone on the tracks between Pentagon & Pentagon City, expect no Blue/Yellow line service in the area.

No ETA.

Trains will offload/reverse as directed by the ROCC on either side of the area. #wmata

Expect Blue Line trains to turn around @ Arlington Cemetery back to Largo

YL trains will run between Fort Totten & L'Enfant Plaza

Both YL/BL south of National Apt will turn around there @ the station.
