Here's a shot across the bow of Democratic Party leadership: stop running scared because a few loud and wrong podcasters front you off while gassing up a bunch of neophyte backbenchers. Defend your goddamn flank or suffer the consequences.
How you gonna keep saying "Believe Black women/Listen to Black women/Trust Black women" but ignore the warnings from the women who make up the CBC? They've seen the danger since at least 2017. Try following their lead instead of rolling your eyes while the ratfckers run rampant
We didn't start this so-called war, Bernie Sanders and his Cosplay Socialist minions did. Justice Democrats literally announced their hostile takeover of the Democratic Party back in 2017 and they've been gunning for Democratic seats ever since. Y'all better recognize.
Cosplay Socialist rarely, if ever, challenge Republicans. They tell you primary challenges are good while they pick you off one by one, but as soon as you try to defend your seat they claim its unfair. They want you to to just roll over and die. What the hell are you gonna do?
You try making nice with them. They turn around and start multiple fires for you to put out, then they shit talk you and fundraise off of the manufactured outrage while you bust your ass to get shit done. They are not interested in unity, they are just using you to build a brand.
Shontel Brown, Jim Clyburn and the CBC just showed you how to fight back. I sure as hell hope y'all are listening. Love y'all.

I just spent the morning in my health provider's office having the receptionist talk me out of a panic attack while we figured out why my labs were not approved. Turns out the doctor (at a different site) who did my telehealth session never put them in the system.
Seriously. It doesn't make any fcking sense to keep saying "the voters in OH11 don't want someone who's just gonna do whatever the White House tells them to do" when the district went for the guy in the White House by HUGE margins. They sure as fck didn't choose Bernie.
Despite the fact a few deeply blue districts recently elected loud and wrong clout chasers obsessed with running to the media to undermine their own party leadership, most Democrats still vote for Democrats who intend to work with Democrats.
The #OH11 race is not the deciding battle between Cosplay Socialism and more moderate Democrats. We had that battle in the 2020 primaries. The Left lost in a rout. AND, even Our Revolution - the flagship of Cosplay Socialism - just threw up the white flag by embracing pragmatism.
My mind had wandered from the #OH11 race. I had all but bought into the premise Nina already had it in the bag.
Then KM insulted Clyburn.
Then Clyburn endorsed Shontel Brown.
Then I found out Nina's lead was from her own internal poll.
And that's when I realized Berners were doing the same thing they tried to do with the DNC chair: leap in before anyone else, then promote their candidate's inevitability to discourage others from entering the race.
Go back a little further and you'll realize Bernie pulled the same strategy in TWO presidential primaries: get an early lead to create a buzz about your own inevitability in hopes of making your campaign look and feel like an unstoppable juggernaut.
Instead of posturing to defend their faves, I wish the people extolling the virtues of primary challenges in safe Dem seats would read the fucking room long enough to realize the resources would be better spent expanding the goddamn map by taking seats from The Insurrectionists.
Open seats are fair game, but we've spent three years making excuses for extreme leftists who would rather "purify" The Democratic Party instead of taking the fight to Republicans and your fucking credibility is circling the drain.
You have emboldened a bunch of tankie sympathizers and goofy conspiracy theorists who road tested half the attacks on the Democratic Party currently being used by conservatives but your pride will not allow you to admit your faves ain't never been shit but a bunch of saboteurs.
I wonder if people know what its like to have to search for the most comfortable pen you can find to reduce the hand fatigue you often get from signing multiple documents in a short period of time? I sure do, and my preferred pen is Papermate Profile Bold 1.4MM black ballpoint
It may seem like a small thing to make fun of...until you're in the middle of clerking multiple documents on a deadline and you have to keep pausing because your hand keeps cramping up.
My pen of choice causes the least hand fatigue, is cheap, does the job effectively and comes in an 8 pack in case my thirsty coworkers try to steal the one I'm using.
