Only one medal overnight for GB with Liam Heath getting a bronze (medal 49) in the 200m sprint canoe. Galal Yafai also just won his SF so will have a shot a fly boxing gold in a few days.
In the athletics Dina was back in the relay and the British women broke the national record in the 4x100 to qualify comfortably for the final. Andrew Pozzi was 7th in the 110h and shockingly Grant Holloway didn't win - US still haven't won a men's track gold medal.
Currently diving going on with two Brits but neither look likely to challenge for the medals. I'm about to start watching the new design omnium which is 4 endurance races in 1 day. Annoyingly Aus won two surprise golds overnight so we need one of our own....
The new Omnium is 4 endurance races in one day:
1. Scratch race (first round wins) 2. Tempo (a point for every lap) 3. Elimination (last place eliminated every 2nd lap) 4. Points (points sprint every 10 laps plus points for win).
Matt Walls goes for GB and got 3rd at worlds.
Just seen the 4x100 men's heats went too. GB qualified for final and somehow the US men didn't qualify in what looks like a blanket finish across the whole field in their heat. Not sure what happened.
Excellent ride by Matt Walls to win the scratch race. Tempo is next. Looks like a real medal chance.
Jack Carlin through to the men's sprint QFs comfortably. Jason Kenny into the repecharge. He's just not quite got the form in these games. Don't see him being able to add to his medal total.
Disaster for Katy Marchant in the keirin as the Dutch rider just took her out in a big crash. She'd looked so good. How frustrating.
BBC just said Sky Brown wants to do the skateboarding and surfing at the Paris Olympics w/o noting that the surfing will be 10,000 miles away in Tahiti which is going to make that tricky...
Jason Kenny through to the sprint QFs in the repecharge but he'll be up against one of the Dutch next and I can't see him winning that.
This is ridiculous. The highest diving score I've ever seen from a 14 year old. She was almost 100 points ahead of the bronze placed athlete.
Matt Walls 3rd in the tempo race. Top three - Walls, van Schip of Holland and Thomas of France - are all on 76 points and have some daylight ahead of the rest of the field.
Matt Walls gets second in the elimination race. He leads into the points race, which is the final omnium event, but everything can change in that race.
Jack Carlin through to the sprint SFs tomorrow. He'll be up against one of the Dutch. Should be a cracker. Kenny out as expected. Just doesn't have the legs this time. I think we'll see him retiring after this week.
GOLD for Matt Walls - number 16 for GB and medal 50. What a brilliant points race ride. Got a lap early and controlled the race. Superb.
Holly Bradshaw going in the pole vault final in 15 mins. Only two women in the field have gone higher than her this season. Then women's 4x400 heats, GB in heat 2, and men's 1500m heats with two GB Jakes and a Josh trying to get into the final.
Australia playing Belgium in the men's hockey final. I suddenly find myself a passionate Belgian hockey fan.
GB women qualify for the 4x400 final. Looks like the three medals will be US, Jamaica and Poland though.
That was great from Jake Wightman to win the first 1500m SF. In the final and looking good. Holly Bradshaw one of only three women clear at 4.70 so far. She's sitting 2nd going into 4.80.
And Josh Kerr + Jake Heyward both qualify for the final too. Another middle distance final with three Brits. First time since 1984. A couple of the big favourites out too. Medals up for grabs.
Gold for Belgium! Every little helps in the race for fourth place.
Holly Bradshaw still sitting in 2nd place in the PV and has cleared 4.85. Still 4 women in it though.
YES! Holly Bradshaw has a medal. That is so wonderful. She's been 6th and 5th at the last two Olympics. She's been 7th, 6th and 4th at the worlds. Always so close and no medal until now.
It's bronze for Bradshaw. Medal 51 for GB and equal with Beijing with two more guaranteed and 3 more days of competition.
Meanwhile San Marino have won another medal in the Wrestling. Takes them above Bulgaria and Nigeria in the medal table. They had five competitors in Tokyo and three have won medals. One medal for every 10k people in the country. They could almost have a day each with them.
For context to match San Marino's per capita medals rate, China would need to win 130,000 medals.
US men have an absolute howler of an track tournament
Steven Gardiner won the 400m - great gold for the Bahamas. The medal table couldn't be much tighter heading into the last three days.
Wrapping up Day 13. GB now have 16 gold and 51 medals. Compared to previous games at this point:
Rio: 22 golds and 56 medals
London: 25 golds and 52 medals
Beijing: 17 golds and 42 medals
With three days left GB team Tokyo 2020 have drawn level with Beijing and are guaranteed to go fourth on the all time list. Don't think they can quite catch London or Rio (or London 1908 of course).
Anyway will be back later with the Day 14 preview including two of my very favourite events - the madison and the modern pentathlon - both the women's versions tomorrow. Plus sprint cycling finals and a great night (lunchtime) of athletics.

So we come to the end of the road. This is the last preview as Sunday is a short day so I'll do the whole weekend together. Race for 4th place still very close and can GB match their London medal total?
First up tomorrow at 6am we have Galal Yafai going for gold in the men's fly boxing final. Then at 7am Tom Daley goes for another medal - assuming he's got through the semi-final at 2am.
Then back to the veledrome where Katy Marchant will be going in the next round of the sprint (7.30am); Jason Kenny and Jack Carlin start in the Keirin (7.48am) and we get the men's version of the madison with omnium gold winner Matt Walls and Ethan Hayter (8.55am).
Overnight GB picked up their 52nd medal as the hockey team won a thrilling bronze medal match against India 4-3. And Lauren Price won her boxing SF so will go into the gold medal match on Sunday.
Currently keeping an eye on the 10m diving qualifier with Tom Daley and Noah Williams and the cycling sprint qualifying with Katy Marchant.
Katy Marchant qualifies 8th for the next sprint round. The top 17 riders all beat the previous Olympic Record!
Only three days left but some of my favourite events over the next few days and an extremely tight medal race to settle...
A quiet night - just the bronze medal women's hockey match between GB and India at 2.30am for anyone on the night shift. But a busy morning.
At 6am Lauren Price goes in her boxing semi-final looking to get to the Sunday final that is one of the last events of the game. She is favourite for gold.
Just four days left - we're into the home stretch. A quieter day tomorrow but still plenty of interest around.
We have another nightime swim marathon. Hector Pardoe going for GB at 10.30pm. Not considered to be likely to get amongst the medals.
Then the overnight athletics session includes women's 100m relay rounds (2am) - will Dina compete for GB? And the 110h final at 3.55am with Andrew Pozzi going for GB. Grant Holloway the big favourite.
The big news overnight is that our youngest Olympian SKy Brown is now our youngest Olymplic medalist. A bronze following an incredibly brave third run in the final despite falling on the first two.
The gold and silver went to Japan. Kokona Hiraki, the silver medalist is 12! All the medalists combined were only 4 years older than Katherine Grainger when she won her last medal in Rio.
Fraser Clarke has just lost his superheavyweight boxing SF - with the cut above his eye opened illegally in the QF opening again. He gets a bronze. That's medal 45. GB's women lost their hockey SF against Holland and will be in the bronze medal match.
After a terrific Tuesday GB have a couple of guaranteed medals on Wednesday plus a bunch of other chances amongst a whole range of sports.
If you fancy a nighttime watch the women's swimming marathon starts at 10.30pm featuring Alice Dearing, the first black woman to represent GB in a swimming event. Not amongst the favourites but it's usually a pretty open event.
In the early hours our two stakeboarders finall get underway with Bombette Martin (15) and Sky Brown (13) going in heats in the Park event from 1am. Final at 4.30am. Sky in particular has a good chance of being in the medal mix.
