I encourage everyone to cal R_effective (Re) using this formula:
Re=R0 x (1- vax rate * Ve),
even if Delta’s R0 is only 5 (CDC says 5-9), if Ve=80% (Pfizer is prbly <80% against Delta), we need 100% vax rate to break even Re=1. In reality, R0 5-9, vax rate 50-90%, Ve 40-88%.
