NEW: The Rockies tell me last night’s incident was a fan shouting to get the attention of the Rockies mascot Dinger, not a racial slur. The Rockies have spoken to the fan who confirms this is the case. They’ve also reviewed video from the local broadcast. #9News
Here's the video by the way. I've highlighted both the fan and Dinger in the the first clip, then zoomed in on the fan in the second clip. And Dinger in the third.
The Rockies tell me no one on the field, including Brinson, heard anything offensive.

THREAD: Not sure if any of you have been following what's going on in the craft beer industry - but a social media campaign is revealing some pretty intense stories about sexism, sexual harassment in a male dominated field....
The Instagram user RatMagnet, a female brewer from Massachusetts posted a question last week after her credentials to work in the brewhouse were questioned twice in the same day... she asked "what sexist comments have you experienced?"
Thousands of comments came in - most detailing disgusting comments men have made in taprooms and behind the scenes at breweries. Some detailed harsh working conditions. Others detailed specific claims of assault and harassment. It's led to some prominent brewers stepping down...

THREAD: Let me attempt to walk you through this word salad we just received from the state of Colorado....

We asked them about the 5 Star Program, which allows certified businesses within counties to jump up a restriction level if they pass an inspection. #COVID19colorado
Technically that would mean counties that are shifting to orange tomorrow would be able to let 5 Star Businesses move to yellow. For example, that might mean a restaurant could allow 50% capacity inside a dining room instead of 25%....
.@GovofCO made this decision to move red counties to orange, even if some of them don't fully fit the metric. For example, Douglas County's two week case incidence rate is 385 per 100,000. The state requires less than 350 to move to orange from red.

BREAKING: @CDPHE has granted a variance to Douglas County to reopen restaurants, houses of worship, gyms and Park Meadows Mall with maximum occupancy of 50 percent, the agency said in a letter to DougCo Comissioners. #9news #COVID19Colorado
We've reported the extensive plans for social distancing at Park Meadows that were signed off by @TCHDHealth: 9news.com/article/news/h…
As for restaurants, DougCo laid out some very specific guidelines in its variance request (details below). It appears the only difference @CDPHE made was to make the cap 50 percent, ensuring a minimum of 28 square feet per person, maxing out at 175 people.

.@GovofCO toured the field hospital being built in Loveland this afternoon. Now that I got the video of his media gaggle to download, I've been able to get more specific numbers of how much capacity has been reduced. #9news #HeyNext 1/4
The Loveland field hospital at the Ranch, has a potential capacity of 1,600 beds. Polis said the state will build 400-600 there. The Convention Center in Denver's capacity is 2,000, Polis says the state will build 500-600 there. Few dozen in Grand Junction. 2/4
“In the Denver Metro, North Metro Area, having 1,000-1,500 beds will give us more confidence in knowing that if we go to work and if we’re trying to go back to normalcy and the virus grows faster than we think… then it won’t outgrow our actual capacity here,” Polis said. 3/4

Something struck me in this moment. Standing outside STEM School Highlands Ranch - these students were waiting for buses to pick them up and take them to a rec center where they’d be reunited with their families after the #STEMShooting. I started watching the teachers.
Some of them were holding binders that said “STEM School Emergency Plan”. They’ve practiced this before. They’ve reviewed the manuals. They’ve probably thought about this moment and prayed it would never happen to them.
But it did. Two shooters entered their school. They were locked down. They were probably terrified in that moment. But they remained calm. The police helped them evacuate. They watched as their young students walked out of the school with their hands up.
