Restoring our coastline is a big challenge for our Lions club. But we are knee deep in fixing the problem. In addition to a number of #Beach cleanups, we are also #replanting #oysters in Oyster Bay. These lill fellas when they grow up will take toxins out of the water
And make the Bay a beautiful place to swim, fish and yes get oysters from again. Below are pictures of the oyster cages where the baby oysters are placed. We made these cages. They protect the immature oysters from predators. 
We swim (or row)out to fetch the cages, clean the waste &then replant them in the #bay. When they mature, they will be planted in the oyster colony &begin to act like the ocean equivalent to a #Romba &clean the waters of the bay #LoveGodsCreatures below is a picture of a #spat
