#Mali: THREAD - Iyad ag Ghali in his latest audio praised the expansion from northern Mali to the south & to the neighboring countries, & the increased numbers of mujahideen (local & foreign). Then talked about Barkhane's failure and shift to "coalition against jihad." #Sahel

#Mali: He questioned if France achieved its goal! He praised Sophie Petronin for converting to Islam and wished her speed recovery. Praised his fighters and insisted that killing one leader here and there won't stop them. #Sahel

#Mali: He added that France's support to multiple transitional governments led to nowhere and just unmasked how corrupted (different governments) are, and only encouraged people to join jihad asking for its (France) departure. #Sahel

#Mali: He repeatedly talked about the Palestinian crisis and asked its people to remain strong. Simultaneously, after 2 decades of patience and fight, gave credit to those stood up to the US and its allies leading to their eviction. #Sahel

#Mali: Interestingly he praised those carried attacks inside France, and this was the result of its policy (along with the US) to fight jihad. Then he called everyone, no matter their background and/or ethnic affiliation, and from other countries to join the fight. #Sahel

#Mali: He then called all those with difference to seek faith, because this is the only path to end all ethnic and tribal retaliations, and revive the roots of the islamic brotherhood. He stated the same to armed groups and not to fall for democracy trap. #Sahel

#Mali: He concluded reminding those captured that the group will not forget about them and will do everything in their power to get them free.
