#Olympics: Lovlina is the first Assamese to win an Olympic Medal.

The GoA awarded an amount of ₹1-crore, along with a scholarship of ₹1-lakh per month until Paris Olympics 2024. Her 5-coaches will be felicitated with an amount of ₹10-lakhs each.
#Olympics: Lovlina has also been appointed as a DSP in Assam Police, as a token of Gratitude by the Government of Assam.

Moreover, a sports complex worth ₹25-crores will be constructed at Lovlina’s native, Sarupathar, to help the local youths excel in the field of Sports.
#Olympics: The government of Assam also announced naming a road in Guwahati after Lovlina Borgohain.

Announcing the rewards, Chief Minister Sarma wrote, “Her success at #TokyoOlympics would remain etched as a milestone in the sporting history of Assam & India.”
