The point of a pre-election progressive alliance is to INCREASE the number of seats of each opposition parties - at least for Labour, Greens & Libdems- thereby increasing Labour's chances to lead a successful government.
Preparing for various post elections scenarios, far from being chaotic, would demonstrate strategic planning & a pragmatic understanding of reality. It is by being in denial that Labour opens itself up to accusations of chaos. The lack of pragmatic leadership demonstrates that
