BJP’s position on various aspects are debatable.

But swaying away from voting them in 2022, UP will be a disaster.

People can keep finding similarities between BJP & INC, but truth is that even if we zoom only on UP, Yogi ji has been a champ.
You talk about it has not done much for "Hindus."
Of course, in my opinion BJP failed Hindus in WB badly & perhaps I'll never be able to get on peace on this ground.

Yes, it has not been able to do much for Hindus, especially Upper Caste (as we say).
But I think, it has done way more than anyone else & it has right to come back in 2024.

For a person interested in History, it has meant a lot.
Vajpayee Govt had set up a panel for tracing River Saraswati in 2002. It was scrapped by the INC, whom many are comparing BJP with.
After coming to power in 2014, a panel was again set up to trace river Saraswati.

Saraswati Heritage Development Board was set up in June, 2016 to take the things forward.

Center of Excellence for Research on Saraswati River was set up in 2017+ more
Coming to CAA. Government has been slow but yes, has asked for an extension till Jan 2022 to frame final rules for CAA.

People have been getting citizenship under CAA, like there was one case of 6 people getting it in MP.
thehindu.com/news/national/…
But then in August, it was decided that Citizenship won't be given until rules are finalized (target Jan 2022).
economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-…
Prior to this as well, as per the data of 2015, the Modi government granted citizenship to 4300 refugees in a year alone against the 1023 in total tenure of Congress (UPA-II).

I really do not see a sense to ever vote for Congress if it is for "Hindus".
indianexpress.com/article/india/…
Although our horrible HRD minister of past gave horrendous statements that no comma has been altered too, we had changes happening in the NCERT book.
Aurobindo, Vivekananda, Bajirao Ballal, Maharana Pratap etc made way. Changes are analysed here in detail.
indianexpress.com/article/educat…
And then of-course they had asked for suggestions pertaining to NEP.

And now we saw how @EduMinOfIndia asked for detailed suggestions on writing of History Books.

It will be too far fetched to say that government has done absolutely nothing for "History Rectification."
Even to get a platform to share your suggestion is a big thing compared to how suggestions were only asked from the names ( we all know).

You can compare BJP with INC, but trust me INC won't have ever given you that platform even.
Well, everyone keeps complaining that government has done nothing for History Book re-writing, now it really goes to my interest that how many of us actually sent the suggestions to the HRD?
I'll like to mention @sri9011 , This handle complains but did the fabulous job of sending elaborate suggestions.

No one can snatch your right to complain. Democracy hai, aisa hi hota hai.

But in my opinion, you become hypocrite if you did not use the platform at all.
The worst happens when you compare INC with BJP is when the incidence of 26/11 pours in.

The INC did work to even show Kasab as a Hindu. The 26/11 was on way to be labelled as Hindu Terror.

The idea was clear, to destroy RSS, BJP and allies.
But hold on. This was not only about Sangh. It was going to come as a big disaster upon the Hindus.

Today you can discuss, that Bajrang Dal need to be operative again etc, but had INC been there and their plan successful, each one even discussing that would have been in Jail.
When you discuss about "Hindu Rights", it would have been shunned as supporter of Radicalism.

Hindu Taliban, was not merely a word but an absolute program to launch psychological pogrom against Hindus.
No one can other that @RudraVS can clarify it better.

That apart, BJP did ensure that no projecting Ram-Setu would be let to happen. Efforts are being made around it.

Efforts are being made to get it declared Heritage
timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/ram-setu…
The steps to get passport became much more easier for the Sadhus.

If one expects that under the party INC, that was set to create narrative of Hindu Taliban this could have happened, then I ca only leave with a smile.
hindustantimes.com/india-news/pas…
I can go on to write how the Modi government has given so much to Hindus, which of course is way too minimal compared to the big losses of centuries.

NaMo appreciating Sufis etc are not in right taste, yet I still don't think we have anything better for Hindus.
Someone might take a jibe too on this narrative of "no option."

You may take a jibe, but that is the truth. Take it with a pinch of salt.

You may work to defeat NaMo, thinking of teaching lesson to BJP.
But then where were you when the idea of "Hindu Terror" was being weaved so meticulously?

Which is the party that you think would not bring back this narrative, which would whitewash any chance of any good for Hindus?
Teaching lesson to BJP?

Well think for a while. Say, BJP loses 2024.

Does it really harm Modi or Shah really? Modi has achieved all he needed in political career & Shah can always make a comeback without changing the way he thinks.
Once INC collaboration comes to rule country for five years, the idea of Hinduness will be back to square as it was in 2013.

How many would be able to raise voice once systematically Hindus would be made target. If you believe this is a hypothesis, read a bit about Sonia Gandhi.
And when you are exactly at the same level of Hinduness, Amit Shah won't have any problem making a comeback in 2029.

But in five years, forget any of tings like River Saraswati, NCERT in right order etc would happen.

Sadhus won't see peace. Look back at records.
Easiest you can do is destroy a painting claiming, it is so badly made. It will just take a minute or two to destroy it.

But if you suggest artist to rectify something he would do with some time.

But once it is lost, process would begin with procuring canvas again.
The questioning to government must not stop.

And it would be silly to even say that "Modi has delivered the best he could."

We also have people who just can't tolerate any criticism of the Government.
Such people create an echo-chamber too. Government needs to know the true emotions of people.

How are you going to answer the mother of the 18 year old boy who died as a result of Police Firing in Munger on occasion of Durga Puja?
How will you ask so many in Bengal who feel grossly betrayed as now after dedicating their whole life and resource have yet to shed blood for standing with BJP?

BJP is responsible for every loss of lives of Karyakarta in Bengal. Mamata is the known villain but 303?

"When the Missionaries arrived, the Africans had the Land and the Missionaries had the Bible. They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible."

Not many would know about "Doctrine of Discovery".

These were the Papal Bulls of the 15th century which gave Christian explorers the right to claim the lands discovered by them for their Christian Monarchs.
The land not inhabited b the Christians according to the doctrines was available to be “discovered” followed with laying claim & then the exploitation.

If the non-Christians could convert, they would be spared otherwise they could be enslaved or killed.

I'm no one to "let" anything happen.

I can only spell the truth that I could analyse.

Frustration is genuine but not the solution.

In my opinion people should flood internet with ideas around Reservation. Let the information flow for the churn to begin.
That is how it actually works. The menace of Jihadi Terrorism is still working hard to take forward it's path but today we are stuck discussing "how many cases of SC/ST Act" have been misuse.
No one still has come up with constructive idea with academic discourse that how we can get away with it.

It is all about "sensation." Every has thing called "my person", "your person" but perhaps not many would have even analysed, how this draconian act came into being.

Well, we stand in situation where anyone touching SC/ST Act would fall in worst of the traps.

In fact, if Government won't have taken forward the Ordinance of 2014, to make it a law (Amendment 2015), country might have seen the worst.
We stand on a slippery land, where radical "Ambedkarites" can turn things really sour.

SC/AT Act is draconian in nature & we seem to be trapped in a meh.

We will need to take it by a pinch of salt that until leaders of SC/ST don't come against it nothing can happen.
Same goes with Reservation. No government on earth can touch it right now.

But a gradual Privatization can only help.

We can react, shout, give sacrifices in rage, but Table won't turn by an immediate step.

.@vivekagnihotri ji, I had clarified it in detail in my book #ModiAgain

If I summarize it :

'Religion is institution while Dharma is the way to “strive to be right”. Dharma tells to reject institution which shows wrong path.'
Further,

'Dharma signifies behaviors that are considered to be in accord with Ṛta, the order that makes life and universe possible. It includes duties, rights, laws, conduct, virtues and “right way of living”. Eg, ‘Rajadharma’ means King’s Duty not Religion.'
People who lived beyond river Sindhu, ie the Hindus, followed the Sanatana Dharma & hence, it became to be known as "Hindu Dharma" too.

The "Quasi Cyclic Time" makes the biggest difference, as Dharma is centrally based on it @vivekagnihotri

Privatization can only save the progress.

It has no scope for mediocrity but only for merit.

Reservation isn't the prob, prob is that country is still able to function without much support of government agencies.

The day country will depend on pvt sectors, all will get well.
For example, a person does not argues with doctor as he does with Architect. As he can't mess with his life.

It is tough to juggle with field without whose support you can't exist.

Currently pvt sectors are only used as support but not decision makers.
In privatization, accountability of work and skill is unavoidable.

As the demands for more better skill will surge, the government colleges too would be bound to would be bound to increase cut-offs even of reserved seats.

Dear @quizzicalguy , the trailer also does not talks about how badly the Taimuriya Troops sent by Babur were kicked by Rana Sanga on 21/2/1527 at Bayana.

Babur said that, "the fierceness and valor of the pagan army" made the troops "anxious and afraid".
The horde of Babur was deep in fear.

William Erskine, the 19th century Scottish Historian did analyse that the Rajputs fighting for Rana Sanga in this battle were most formidable men that Babur ever came across.

He says as below in his book:
"They (Mughals) had some sharp encounters with the Rajputs, ... found that they had now to contend with a foe more formidable than the Afghans or any of the natives of India to whom they had yet been opposed. The Rajputs, ... were ready to meet, face to face,...
