Thread on Swastik and Swasti Vachan (listen video).
In it, we will learn how our Rishi-Munis visualized Swastik in sky and why our Vedas inherently confirm the impact of Nakshatras upon us & how closely constellations have been mapped in Sanatan culture.
RT too.

There are 27 Nakshatras in Vedic Jyotish. The 14th, which is Chitra Nakshatra, is the central one with 13 Nakshatras on either side. Even with the scheme of 28 Nakshatras (including Abhijit) mentioned in Vedas, the central point does not deviate much from Chitra.
3/11
Last Nakshatra Revati is almost 180° away from it. The line might not be straight, but for the purpose of visualization, a small variation would not bother. In this way, Sharavan Nakshatra is about 90° away from Chitra & Pushya Nakshatra is about 90° away from Revati.
4/11
So, Pushya, Chitra, Shravan and Revati Nakshatras constitute mutually right angles and can be visualized as the four cardinal points of Zodiac. If lines are drawn to connect them, a "+" would be formed. A Parikrama is followed, that is, it appears from left to right.
5/11
Swastik becomes naturally evident when four points are joined with cross lines and direction arrows.
But how does Swasti Vachan (video) in first tweet signify Swastik and pray for benevolent impact of Nakshatras upon us? Let us read some names mentioned in Swasti Vachan.
6/11
May the Vradhhashrava (one who has enlarged/longer earlobes) Indra, the omniscient Pusha, the never perishing Garuda and Brihaspati bless us with all the well-beings (Swasti) in all ways .
In Vedic texts (Taitteeriya Samhita), the ruling deity of Chitra is Indra.
7/11
The deity of the next Nakshatra Revati is Pusha or Sun. He is considered the resource of all knowledge (Vishvaveda). He is also one of the Pravartakas of Jyotish as per many revered minds. So, Pusha in this Mantra directly implies Revati Nakshatra by invoking of Surya/Sun.
8/11
The word Tarkshya (Tri + Riksha) means three stars, which is direct reference to Shravan which also has three stars. Tarkshya also means Garuda who is Vaahan (carrier) of Vishnu Bhagwan. Vedic texts mention Vishnu as the presiding deity of Shravan Nakshatra.
9/11
The use of word Brihaspati is a direct reference to Pushya Nakshatra. Brihaspati is also the deity of this Nakshatra. It is known to be the Janma Nakshatra of Brihaspati.
Thus, all 4 points including centre Chitra, each about 90° apart, have been named in Swasti shloka.
10/10
Where is Swastik Mantra mentioned? Yajurveda 25.19.
Thus, this mantra not only tells 4 Nakshatras in sky but it also prays for benediction from them thereby acknowledging they have impact on human beings. This is the reason that Swastik symbol represents benevolence.
11/11
Some people claim Vedas do not validate Jyotish (astrology) but this Mantra falsifies them all by acknowledging impact of Nakshatras on us through their presiding deities.
This way Swastik was manifested by our Rishis by praying well-being for us.

For several milennia, omens came under Samhita branch of Jyotish but due to their vastness, omens have been considered a separate branch in Jyotish for many centuries now. Narad Puran says त्रिस्कन्धं ज्योतिषं शास्त्रं ...
First is calculative (Ganit/Siddhanta), second is Jatak (Hora) and third is Samhita (whatever is left comes under it. It is nowadays known as Mundane astrology). In his treatise, Varamihir clearly mentioned that a Jyotish ought to deeply study Samhita (that included omens).
3/5
In Valmiki Ramayan, several characters noticed omens before events. Muhurta Chintamani mentions several omens.
In short, a prudent Jyotishi should not only be good at calculative and predictive parts, he should also know Samhita and observe omens with sound mind.
With @Lakshmimittal12 at Khandeshwar Mandir. Shivling was set up by Vasudev Shri Krishna+Arjuna and Krishna ji used to come here often. One of His marriages took place here and Brahma ji is said to have attended it.
Many incidents related to it. Sadly not known much now.
Since like forever, it has been my family temple. About 90 years ago, it had very high number of visitors who used to come here to get relief from epidemics but over time, it all got reduced. This temple has survived everything from Mahabharat period. Imagine how old it is.
There is a well (कुआं) outside this Temple, built by Pandavas. This was presumably constructed when they were in process of transforming Khandavaprastha into Indraprastha. Obviously it has been renovated from time to time. Temple & well, both connected to MBT.
Some learned Jyotishis have predicted that in 2028, India will be under someone whose fame will be as good as Chandragupta Vikramaditya. When I was learning Samhita (Mundane), my Guru ji explained subsequent period after 2028 from multiple angles.
Thought to share this today. 🙏
I will make a video on observations of some other enlightened Jyotishis on this matter and will include my observations and calculations too. Generally books don't touch such issues, however, just to make it clear, Vikramaditya observation aforementioned isn't originally mine.
I have not mentioned the word "ruler" anywhere and I have purposefully refrained from using this word. However, speaking of Bhartiya Sanskriti, not many kings were democratically elected. But that's not my subject matter and I won't go into it.
Not sure how genuine are the videos of a meteor falling in a city of Turkey, but if it's for real, we are actually living in a very tough time.
These Apshakuns (bad omens) reflect a very troubled state in world. Read Valmiki Ramayan & Mahabharat to know their importance.
Sir, in a world troubled by pandemic, it is a very bad sign. Yes, definitely bad for Turkey but bad for rest of the world as well. No cause to feel relaxed and joyous.
Raja Dashrath said to Shri Ram that his astrologer had warned him that his " Janma Nakshatra" was surrounded by Sun, Mars and Rahu etc. He explained its alarming results.
Such is impact of affliction of Janma Nakshatra. It being free from malefic influence is a BIG relief!!
Janma Nakshatra is afflicted when malefic Grahas transit through it or put it under their Drishti (mind that this Drishti is different from normal Drishti that you come across). If malefics putting it under Drishti are multiple, troubles also become worse.
Yes, Raja Dashrath warned Bhagwan Ram about upcoming malefic transits he was informed of by his Jyotishi. He even mentioned the consequences of such transits before Bhagwan Ram. I will mention Shlokas some time later.
