1/ We are shortly before the announcement of the next $KSM parachain auctions and I want you to know which project I have chosen to loan my $KSM to and where I will market buy in: #Kilt @Kiltprotocol I try to give you an overview so that you can DYOR and understand my decision.

2/ The idea: Identity is broken in Web2.0. Our data actually does not belong to us. #Kilt fixes this. #Kilt is a blockchain based implementation of decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials. They implement digital credentials that a trusted entity can be contacted ...

3/ ..and asked for a special kind of credential. The trusted entity checks, verifies and then signs it. The claimer can now use that credential without the entity knowing what reason for. That prevents tracking of the users of credentials. The blockchain is used for validation.

6/ #Kilt analyzed the demands of potential industry partners and the outcome was basically:
- permissionless, trustless, decentralized concept
- known & low production cost to store an attestation on chain

7/ So $ETH was no option (gas fees) and #Kilt decided to go for the $DOT $KSM Substrate ecosystem. Have a read here:

8/ Sporran wallet: The #Kilt wallet is able to hold
a) coins
b) credentials
and show them to 3rd parties. So it is more like a real life wallet than a crypto wallet.

9/ SocialKYC: #Kilt created a decentralised identity verification service for regaining control over your digital identity allow users to manage, store and present their personal credentials, enabling them to select which elements of their private information are accessed ...

10/ ...by online services. For these credentials the Sporran wallet is used. In my words: "Our data belongs to us!"

11/ Polimec: #Kilt created the Polkadot Liquidity Mechanism (Polimec), which is an open-source blockchain system for getting liquidity into $DOT-based projects that aren't ready to sell currencies on their own technology. They will use Kilt token instead. link.medium.com/pFsxnMc7Ueb

12/ Tokenomics: #Kilt recently published their updated token economics:
- initial circulating supply: 32.5 million.
- initial inflation is ~5% per year, dropping to 1% per year within the first 6 years and then slowly moving towards 0%.

13/ Only one token for $KSM $DOT: "There can only be one" #Kilt network and one #Kilt Coin, regardless whether KILT moves from Kusama to a Polkadot parachain. A bullish fact when it comes to crowdloans!

14/ $KSM crowdloan strategy for #Kilt: 4.5 million #Kilt tokens of the initial distribution have been reserved for the upcoming $KSM crowdloan to thank the community for voting in support of the Kusama parachain crowdloan auction of slot 6-10 (to be announced shortly)

15/ Roadmap: Currently #Kilt is applying for a $KSM parachain slot and will deploy their mainnet and the Sporran wallet shortly after that. Have a look here:

16/ The #Kilt team: Every project is only as good as its team. The #Kilt team has an outstanding experience and background which you can research at Linkedin or on their website (kilt.io/testimonial/). It is impossible to mention the whole team but I picked a few of them:

17/ @ingoruebe founded #Kilt in March 2018 and he is the CEO of botlabs.org. Ingo is a computer scientist and his experience include the position as CTO of Hubert Burda Media, IT Project Director at Axel Springer AG. He has a lot of entrepreneurial background.

18/ @christinemohan – Vice President of #Kilt Business Development. Maybe you know Christine from her former position as CMO for the Web3 Foundation /@Polkadot. She has 25 years of experience in SW and digital media including the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

19/ Matthias Möller is Operation Director with >20 years of work / leadership experience in developing and shipping digital services.
Gustav Hemmelmayr is Legal Director of #Kilt. He has 20 years of experience thereof 10 years for startups, IT companies, e.g. SAP.

20/ Kaspar May Jorgensen is the CFO – from my working experience you may not underestimate this position! Kasper has 20 years of working experience including companies such as Maersk, Nortel Networks and KPMG. Kasper is also CFO of Web3 Foundation.

21/ @shawntabrizi joined the #Kilt team as Technical Advisor He is the Runtime Engineering Team Lead for
@ParityTech, where he guides the development of the
@substrate_io and @Polkadot runtime.
